These 7 gallon white hdpe buckets are extremely tough. 100 mil construction allow for these buckets to be used over and over again. Sturdy wire bail with a plastic handgrip is attached to the bucket. Practical fill is 7.00 gal. (26.50 liters) and overflow fill is 7.39 gal. (27.97 liters). Meets FDA standards. Can be used to pick up baseballs after a game. Buckets & lids sold separately.

I use it to give a chemical wash to a vintage gold-plated trumpet. Because it is 7 gal., it is tall enough to fit the whole instrument in there, which is crucial, because you want uniformity of chemical dispersion and uniformity of temperature. Also, this very simple bucket fits perfectly into a Plano box that I use for cleaning non-gold trumpets, so there is economy of storage. Wow. It's just a bucket. The bucket is strong, sturdy and holds a good volume of material. The handles are strong and support the extra weight of extra content. My only displeasure with this item was the opening at the top. The measurements provided, in the listing, made it seem that I was getting a slightly larger opening than some standard 5 gal. buckets that you can easily get at paint stores or Home Depot.     • Same diameter as 5 gal but just taller.
I was need a bucket taller than a 5 gallon but same diameter. I was using it for a water catch basin for a sump pump. When replacing the pump the new one was about 2" taller than the existing 5 gallon bucket.
