It is a bit larger than we expected, but my pug loves it! She just sinks into it and sleeps. The cushions were easy to insert, and were plenty full/fluffy right from the start. It took us a while to figure out how to attach it to our front seat, because it is different than our previous one…because seat can be used in the back seat as well. It does come with instructions for anyone else who is slightly confused by the design. It looks like it will be easy to remove the cushions and wash it in the future. I like that the dark color will hide the dirt we take home from the dog park. It is definitely a step above the one we had before.

We have only had the seat a short time, but the most important thing to us is that our puppy (10 year old 18 pound doxie rescue) actually goes into it on his own. Although it doesn't happen as soon as he gets in the car (we use it in the back seat) after a while he "chooses" to go into it (anybody who has a doxie knows that doing anything has to be their decision - and often only after being bribed by a treat!)

I was deciding between this product or another based on look and price. I’m so glad that I went with this one! Extremely surprised by the quality of the material for its price. It’s tough, yet soft and seems durable for longevity of my boys nails. Clasps seem sturdy and safe. I bought 2 of these for my boys. It’s the perfect size and comfort for them. Color goes great with the black interior of my car. Very quick and easy to assemble—Just remember to fluff out the cushions.

It is better than I expected when totally assembled. I was concerned about the foam pillows not expanding enough but I fluffed them a few times and let them sit overnight before putting them in the casing. I put it on the floor so my boy could get used to it. He got right in it and made himself comfortable. Lol, not a pretty picture but is shows he feels safe and comfortable. For reference he is a 9.5 lb Maltese. He has plenty of room and spends more time the last few days in it than his other bed or kennel. He is a very fussy boy as I have 2 other dog beds he won't use unless all the other choices are in the laundry.

I should have gotten this earlier! My dog loves this car seat and will immediately lay down with plenty of room to adjust as needed. The clip gives me peace of mind that he’s safe and secure while I’m driving. We even use it as his bed when traveling and he’s completely content in it. The water resistant material is great as my dog can get pretty foamy when he pants a lot and it just rolls right off. My only complaint is like another review mentioned - the entire bed gets pretty hot in the summer. I normally leave it in my car and it will get hot and I don’t feel comfortable putting my pup in the seat until I’ve ran the a/c for a bit. The metal parts especially get hot so you can hurt yourself and your pup when trying to clip them in right away.

My Jack Russell was scared of car rides. My Puggle was a lunatic running back & forth. These car seats have cured both! They both love these, you can tell they are soooo comfortable. Super heavy duty! I was able to take both my pups on a cross country road trip because of these.

It is easy to install -very stable. My little guy was confused at first. He has gotten older and sometimes fall off the front seat. Now he is much more secure. I do not always clip him in for short drives -but the edges work well. I have a 12lb senior Maltese -so this is perfect!
