For the price, this is not a bad deal. The tone is surprisingly good for a $100 flute. At first, some of the keys were a tad sticky, but I think once I break it in, that should resolve. I bought a blue one, and it is quite pretty. I got it to teach a beginner. I belong to a group that goes to juvenile hall and shows the kids there how to play an instrument.
