These dishes are absolutely gorgeous. Each plate looks handmade. The color is described as “reactive-Gray White. The color leans toward a pale denim-gray, perfect for what I wanted. The bottom of the plates is dark brown. We needed dinner plates because we bought a new dishwasher, not realizing that the main washing drum has an upper arm that rotates horizontally and sprays water. Great feature! Except, our old dishes are 11 3/8” in diameter, and the rotating arm smacks the tops of the plates. It would either crack all the dishes or simply not rotate. So, I needed new, slightly smaller dinner dishes. Love, love, love these well made, very well packaged, beautiful new dinner plates. Microwave, oven, dishwasher safe. Scratch, chip resistant. Lead free! By the way, the diameter measurement is 10 1/2”, the rotating arm doesn’t touch the plates. I’m ordering another set. Great price as well. ... show more

These are beautiful! The glaze is smooth and the craftsmanship is excellent. The raised edges keep the food from going off the plate. The inside is a flat surface. I've put them through the dishwasher many times and it doesn't damage the finish. I would love to have the whole set.
