Great playing and sounding guitar , plays like butter. I received this as a Christmas present from my wife and the quality is top notch , I just had to tweak the truss rod slightly and lowered the action , there's absolutely no fret buzz. The locking tuner's are solid and the input jack is nice and tight , this is a hidden gem at $154 , cannot beat the price. One last thing it reminded me of an Ibanez wizard neck , nice and slim like I like. I would definitely recommend this guitar 👍🤘

Worth every penny! 40 yr player and just lost all my guitars and gear. Needed something low cost and fast. Man was I pleased! At this price expect some setup, though mine was pretty miner; one high sided fret fixed, lowered the action, very slight neck adjustment, new strings, tightened volume pot, and man o man, plays better than my mid range Ibanez, better than a couple of my fireflys (though not all), and yes the fret ends and neck overall are top notch. Hot neck pickup for sure (little bright for my taste but really pretty good). This won’t compare to my old fav LP custom, but if you need a solid guitar that hits way above its price - this is it. Don’t think about it anymore. Buy it.

First off, this guitar is mostly playable straight out of the box if you want to tune it up, crank up the distortion, and go to down. I will say for this price, its a crazy deal. I don't know how the manufacturer makes money with these. Its comfortable to play, sounds surprisingly good, and the machining and finish are done really well. The tuners and bridge hardware are way nicer that I was expecting. Because its so nice, I am going to have to nitpick some things. I say these as a guitar player for 30 something years having owned all kinds of guitars and modding them and as an amateur luthier with a pile of scratch builds under my belt. I'm no pro though. 1. The setup was non existent. The action was actually too low so there was a significant buzz and the intonation was not set. At all. 2. One of the frets was installed shifted too far to the left so much so that it stuck out a little and felt sharp like fret sprout. They knew this because they also filled the obvious slot left where the fret wire should be. 3. The frets weren't perfectly leveled. 4. Somebody got a little too excited with the sanding and removed a little too much material right around the nut and 1st fret. 5. The neck at the neck pocked wasn't rounded over enough so its pretty sharp. If you squeezed and moved your hand here you will get cut. Its like this on both sides. 6. I'm not certain these frets are actually stainless. They file and polish just like standard nickel and the metal shavings don't smell like steel. (no I don't sniff metal shavings lol - I work in a metal working fabrication facility so am exposed to these materials all day). The frets were also only partially polished as in they will get you by but you can feel them a bit rough when bending. 7. There was some kind of gunk all over the guitar. Like the sticky boogers left behind when you remove a decal from something. Where I'm at with it - I leveled and mirror polished the frets. Smacked the offset fret back into place. Put on a heavier gauge set of strings and tuned down to the tuning I use - D. I then set the action and set the intonation. Wiped the gunk off with instrument cleaner. NOW it is a great player. For metal type stuff, they do sound way better than I had expected. They have a nice thicker meaty quality and not really harsh which is what I was expecting from a cheap instrument. I like them quite a lot. The satin neck is fast and smooth although you can feel some sanding imperfections with your thumb. Its not enough to bother me but they are there. I bought this guitar as something to keep in my truck and jam out at lunch time or just something to throw around because its so inexpensive. I am hesitant to do that now because this guitar is so nice. I am considering buying a few more just because for the price these things are a considerable bargain IF you spend a few minutes fixing the issues they have.

Let me start by saying I've owned over 200 electric guitars and currently own over 50. I've had expensive big name brands and 69$ POS. I also repair and have built several electric guitars from scratch. At this price point (178$) , this guitar is hard to beat. Action, fit and finish are outstanding. The pickups sound pretty good as well. I've had 5 Leo Jaymz guitars and currently have 3 including this one. They keep improving with each new model. I would definitely put this super strat up against name brands twice the cost. That said it's not in the same class as a high end Jackson, Charvel, ESP or Ibanez. But it does compete with the mid-priced models of those brands. So if you don't care about brand names then this guitar may be what you're looking for. I bought a Monsoon and a couple of Tempests when they came out and they have held up nicely. No fret sprout or crazy wood problems. All in all a good purchase. I will likely buy another one from them at some point. I'd like to see them make a nice V guitar.

I own several top brands including Gibson Gold top Les Paul, Fender strats, MusicMan , Gretch , etc . This Tornado by Leo Jaymz is fantastic! Great sounds, quality super hot pick- ups , very very lightweight , locking tuners, smooth ball end stainless steel frets and strings . Super low price ! And brand new model. Got to buy it.

Was not setup what's so ever,nut was not cut at all binding up g,b,and high e strings,intonation way off,trust rod had to be adjusted,three high frets,after all this was done then it played good,looks good,feels good,if you don't know how to setup a guitar I wouldn't recommend it.

Out of the box it sounds great. Action is a little high but is ok, I will get it in for a setup soon and I’m looking forward to seeing how much better it will be. The inlays resemble piano keys and I love how unique it looks. The neck is super slim and has helped me move up and down with smooth ease. I’m looking at buying another just for a backup.
