I bought this product to replace one of my Riedel's that was damaged from daily use. It is not in the same class as Riedel, but for the money does a great job as a decanter, and does not drip after a pour. Great for an everyday decanter.

This carafe is truly beautiful and a nice weight. However, it chipped around the lip on the first use. We were very careful with it and followed all instructions, so I'm not sure if we got a faulty item or if it's a common occurrence.

I wanted a nice pitcher to use at the dinner table when having holiday meals. This is a nice addition that holds a lot of volume to fill 6 water goblets. I am very happy with it but do worry about breaking it, being glass. It is simple, elegant and a classy addition to a dinner table. Nice solid bottom so it stays put. Handle is nice and it is easy to hold, no awkwardness there. The most fragile is the spout, the glass is thinner there so just handle with care. Very simple but lovely. ... show more
