This tree is very pretty - I wanted a large ceramic tree similar to what I remember my mom had. The big downside is that it is not very bright. It uses 3 AAA batteries and they have only lasted a few weeks before needing to be replaced. Even with new batteries it just is not very bright, which is disappointing ... show more

I had to get the first one replaced because the top was broken off upon arrival. It seemed to have been opened so I was reluctant to buy another one, but I did. The lights don’t show up during the day. It has to be pretty dark. The top lights don’t really get any light to them because the inner bulb is too far away. It’s expensive for these reasons.
