Chromebooks have truly become a disposable commodity. My college daughter had an ASUS that died and needed one ASAP before she returned to classes after Spring Break. As long as it worked, for seventy bucks I was going to be happy. For a "Refreshed" computer, I was more than happy with this Lenovo 300e. Yeah, it doesn't have the touch screen and yes, there are some minor cosmetic blemishes. Also, the "5" key has a bit of an extra click to it. That's all that wrong with it though. For what it is, it is powerful and quick enough. The screen and audio are good, and the keyboard is surprisingly high quality. The trackpad works nicely, and the battery life is good. I wish it had a 2nd USB C port, but just about everything else is there and works or isn't needed. Update: This seller will not offer an exchange only refunds. Even if it is damaged. They are very hard to work with. Highly recommend choosing a different seller!!!!!! The computer itself is pretty good. The speed is nice and works well. There are some cosmetic imperfections and not in pristine condition, but it's to be expected for the price. My biggest issue is several keys on the keyboard keep sticking or are hard to press. It makes it hard for a kid to learn to type. I currently am waiting on an exchange through Amazon and will update my review if the new one is better. One note: I first contacted the seller and they said they didn't have an exchange available and could only have me return the computer. However, Amazon showed there were 8 left. Paid $25 more for overnight expedited shipping - nada. Little to no communication from seller on this issue, got a beat up box left at my door in 101 weather. Works, software is buggy, handwriting pad not accepting input after it clearly shows on screen, Microsoft products refusing to work and hindering productivity. Biggest gripe is I got this to use anywhere but if I'm using the keyboard and my finger dare touches the left TouchPad button (not even pressing) thr cursor won't move. Battery life is great and its a. Retired after 39 years as systems analyst and now enjoy my 5 bedroom house which my stepdaighter bought for me and my wife of 28 uears. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the main house and the garage is converted to a bedroom and bathroom. It has a pool and jacuzzi in the back yard. I enjoy watching youtube videos on my laptop so when my laptop failed a few week ago I ordered a refurbished Lenovo Chromebook last week and received it today.It plays my Youtube videos prrfectly which is great as I am retired and enjoy Youtube daily. The only thing missing is cd or dvd player. As i received Youtube and Amazon prime a few months ago as part of my hish sevice a few months ago.
