Our ps40 igniter finally went after 17 years! So we got this one and I had it installed in 10mins. Install was easy but 2 things... 1.. the wires were not quite same length as the old one... i got it to work but it was somewhat tight. 2... It seems to take longer to ignite. but it does eventually lite off. Could be the volt/amps are a bit different not sure. But so far it works... and for the price it's awesome ..considering my local stove shop wanted over $100. ... show more

Working flawlessly and the was best price I could find. As many have noted on this and various other sites, these ignitors tend to fail more frequently when used on a stove controlled by a thermostat (which causes the stove to cycle off and restart frequently in my home). I have been running a Winslow PS40 for >6-years using a thermostat and have replaced the ignitor 4 times now. I keep a new one on hand at all times. While this may be a poor design factor, a replacement ignitor outweighs the alternative of a replacement stove (at least for now). ... show more

Hopefully keeps working for a long time, but cheap parts like this are always a gamble. I hope it stays working for years but time will tell.
