Can you make a perfect Tom Collins without a set of Collins glasses? Maybe, but it's so much easier when the glasses are the right size. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these glasses. Heavy enough to be sturdy and survive the dishwasher, yet light enough to feel like fine crystal. The bases are thick which gives them stability, and no imperfections of any kind in the glass. The volume is just right for a Collins, or any other drink that serves best in a tall glass. As a bonus the box they are shipped in makes a good place to store them when not in use.

12 ounces if you fill it all the way to the top, and less if you use ice. That might not be normal for a typical drinking glass, but it's perfect as a highball and honestly very serviceable as an ordinary drinking glass. The craftsmanship and QA is good for the product, which is not always the case at this price point. I've been very happy with them. One caveat: because this is a highball-style glass, the mouth is narrower than some. This may cause a little extra effort depending on the size of ice you want to use.

Just received the product yesterday. The packaging is beautiful, sturdy and perfect for gift giving . Glass is very clear with no imperfections. Great size for drinks. The narrow design makes it a bit more unstable in a dishwasher but this is of small concern and easily remedied. I will look for other items from this company.
