It does seem to be somewhat flimsy as compared to the original but I don’t anticipate any problems because of that. I think it is an excellent product for the price. I think I like this better than the original Dyson head. Hear me out! First a caveat: I have all hard floors with a few very low pile throw rugs. Things I like: 1. This attachment head is not as loud as the Dyson head that came with my vacuum. I noticed it when I turned it on, but my blind dog noticed it too. He normally leaves the room when I vacuum, but this time he lingered about 10’ away. 2. The quality of this attachment is equal to the Dyson. The plastic is just as thick and it feels sturdy. 3. The suction might be slightly less strong than the Dyson in my opinion. But for me, this is a plus. With the Dyson, when I got near the edge of a rug, I had to be careful it didn’t get sucked into the vacuum. This one gave me no trouble. And since I have all hard floors, slightly less suction isn’t a deal-breaker. 4. It picked up all the cat hair, bits of dirt and plants that my dog tracks in, and kitty litter. It got my floors clean just as quickly as the original attachment. 5. It fit my Dyson V8 perfectly. I have only used this once so far, but I’m impressed and satisfied. I will update this review if the attachment breaks or quits working at some point. But I certainly think it was worth what I paid for it!

This V8 replacement vacuum head works well with my Dyson and was easy to attach to my cordless model. It fits securely and provides strong suction, picking up dust, pet hair, and debris without any issues. For the price, it’s a great alternative to the original. The only downside is that it feels a little rough on hard floors. It doesn’t glide quite as smoothly as the genuine Dyson head and can be slightly noisy on tile or hardwood. It’s not damaging, just not as polished in movement. Overall, it’s a solid, affordable replacement that gets the job done — just be aware it may not be quite as smooth on certain flooring surfaces.

We use a Dyson at the gym, the roller head had gone so bashed up from overuse that it didn't even roll anymore. This cheap replacement made it like a whole new vacuum again. Fit perfect and sucks great.

I give this product 4 stars out of 5 because as it is a great, less expensive alternative to the actual Dyson one, it is not exactly the same. The product works great for the price compared to spending $150 on a replacement Dyson one. The suction is still good, just not as good as the Dyson. The bristles on the detangle comb are a lot softer so i feel as if it doesn’t pick up as well as the Dyson because the bristles are made tougher and more durable. The cleaning process is still the same with how you take them apart, so still easy to clean. The product fits perfectly with my V11 Dyson and easy to connect. Overall, if you can’t spend a lot on the Dyson replacement, this is a good alternative for the price. Attached pictures of the new head verses my old Dyson head.
