I'm so glad my friend recommended us to use this to clean our hot water boiler. It was easy to use and very effective to remove the hard water stains inside the water boiler. Just mix in a couple tablespoons and reboil the water a few times and majority of the hard water stain should disappear. I use citric acid to clean the limescale build up in my hot water kettle. I let it sit at least an hour in hot water, then slowly pour it over my stainless steel sink fixtures to remove hard water build up on them as well. I really like this product, and it does seem to work, however I am guessing on amounts. No where on the bag or on their website are 'amounts per water', or 'use no water but this amount' listed. Very disappointed on non instructions available.

For years I cleaned the lime scale from our coffee pot with white vinegar. An online article recommended citric acid and I decided to try it because my wife always objected to the vinegar odor. It works even better and in the long run it's probably more economical.

I cleanedy water distiller with this and it worked beautifully. I even pour the water into a container and cleaned some old drinking glasses that had a white film build up. It cleaned them as well. Nice size bag and I am now a fan.
