Great quality. Very light and the mechanism to attach and detach the gauntlets has a brilliant design, as it is very easy to attach and detach the poles from the gauntlets. While less important, they are beautiful. I recommend them very highly.

The poles have markings enabling me to quickly set the length evenly. When I first started using them one pole slipped down. I had to turn the knob to tighten it. Now it doesn’t slip. The quick lock works easily. There is a plastic c clamp that holds the poles together when not in use. There are hand straps that are marked left and right. They have Velcro for adjustment. I haven’t changed the adjustment and leave them loose. There is a rubber tip at the bottom end, that is easily turned so the angle aligns with walking. These are my first trekking poles and I really like them. They are lightweight and sturdy The instructions just have pictures on how to adjust the poles and hand straps. There is no narrative. I couldn’t figure out what they were describing. I just figured it out with out the instructions. ... show more

Pros: sticks are lightweight and the trigger works well Cons: like a previous reviewer noted, the M-L-XL mesh straps are too big for me (5'6" woman) and there was no way to order the smaller S-M-L size. For such expensive poles, it seems unfair for the company to only offer larger gloves and have many people (I suspect mostly women) have to order a separate set of gloves (which are $56 on other websites). Also, one of the gloves is poorly sewn and has a knot that lands right on top of my knuckle which make the nordic walking stride painful. Additionally, of the poles sometimes does not lock all of the way until you fiddle with it. ... show more

I will buy no other brand of Nordic Walking poles. These particular poles are aluminum, which is not my favorite; but they are still great. I prefer carbon poles, but I wanted to try the adjusting system on these. I like them, so I will add them to my growing collection of Nordic Walking poles.

The poles themselves seem very sturdy and are lightweight. They are easily adjustable in length. However, the strap/grip/mesh was a men’s L-XL. I am a 5ft tall woman with smaller hands. I saw no place during the ordering process where you could choose a size of the strap/mesh/grip. In their current state they are sort of useless to me. ... show more
