The blue and cream colors are quite nice and look nearly true to what you see online. To me, the cream color has pink undertones. I got this duvet cover to go over my newly-purchased duvet. I liked several of the patterns offered for the cover but finally settled on one. It is bright and bold and looks excellent. I'm happy to see it every time I come into my room. The cover itself has plenty of ties - one at every corner and ties along the edges inside. My duvet only has attachment points at its four corners, though, so the sides and edges aren't connected at all. This is okay for me, though, because it allows the cover to be very billowy, which makes the duvet/cover set even more enjoyable and cozy. The cover material is very soft and fun to cuddle up in at night or lie on while relaxing. I washed my duvet cover according to the instructions (delicate with cold water) and did not have any of the tearing or fraying reported by other users. I recommend following the care instructions provided on the tag attached to the duvet cover to avoid damaging the cover. I am extremely happy with this purchase and love looking at, being wrapped up in, and flopping on my duvet with this great cover. ... show more

Material is soft so if you don't use a top sheet no worries. The color is a beautiful shade of gray so it looks clean not dingy. I got a California king and it fits my king bed perfectly. If it holds up to once a week washing I would buy again.
