Kind of surprised, in a good way.

TL;DR Pros: looks nice, lightweight, zipper action is smooth, locks, telescoping arm/handle works well, has zippered compartments and the wheels are shockingly easy to install/uninstall. Cons: None yet, but I'll update as needed. This bag was also a good value because I caught it on sale. I will be using this to transport small items for my gigs (music), but it would work as a small weekender or something for little kids to use to feel "grown up" for overnights (I have tiny 6 year old, it's like a regular carry on to her). Just know it's not a regular carry on, but you could certainly use it as one if you were checking luggage. Not too big, but big enough for electronics (laptop, iPad, etc ). It also would easily fit under your seat in the plane. I gave it 5 stars, but only because it would be unfair to give it 4. I'd say it's a 4.5 (reserving the right to update after more use).

I was beyond surprised with the size and efficiency of this luggage. First, the attached handles and pull-out handle all have tight fixings, everything feels so secure. The lock is an added wow factor for me, I've never had one before! I bought this to use as a personal item (not carry-on) for Frontier, it goes right under the seat. Wheels pop on and off and they fit in a coat pocket before boarding, if needed. I want to show what I could fit in here, it's more than one might expect: - 6 t-shirts [5 short, 1 long sleeve] (size L) - 4 pairs of pants [swim trunks, denim shorts, adidas sweats, and pajama pants] (size M/L) - 1 crewneck sweater (size L) - 5 pairs of mens underwear, 5 pairs of socks (3 crew, 2 ankle) - 13" inch MacBook Pro - Chargers - Small toiletries (deodorant, travel-size face wash, electric shaver, toothbrush) Extremely satisfied for the price point and makes a great gift, too.

Good For Short Trips & Economy Travel 🧳

After reading the reviews, I bought this carry on to use while traveling with budget airlines ( in this case, Frontier). It's a nice, small carry on and the wheels are detachable. It's a good to use for a short trip that you're going on for a few days during the week or on the weekend. If you have the travel vacuum bags, it will allow you a little bit more room. It's a split case...zipper on 1 side and a clasp on the other side to hold clothes/things down. I gave it 4 stars because even though it had a plastic cover within the box, it had a couple of scratches and wheels appeared as if they were rolled across the floor a time or two (in other words, it appeared as if it could had been returned). Because I had to travel within days of receiving it, I did not return it for a new one. As fo me, the handle does not extend out as far as I'd like it to ( it's just...a tad bit shorter than what I'm use to & not an extremely big deal. I guess...us tall people would kinda notice that🤔😁). Otherwise , this is a nice short trip bag that does fit underneath Frontier's seat. One thing I did not do was test to see if it fit in their personal bag sizer. Reason being...they didn't ask, I didn't bother!😁 But...I honestly do believe that it does fit with no problem... wheels off.

very happy with this. with wheels removed it fits easily in the "personal item" bin at both Frontier and Spirit airlines. fit under the seat easily in both flights as well. i wore the same shoes and belt every day, but fit 3days worth of nice clothing inside this (different outfit for each day) including a lightweight blazer, basic toiletries, a small book, phone charger, and even a couple granola bars. lock works well. carry handles do too. the black looks good and held up well. great small case at a fair price. very happy with this.

You get a little less than you pay for

Extremely thin sides felt very flimsy. The hardware felt cheap. It is very small (tiny) compared to US carry ons. Would not last long. Low cost, low quality. But I did complete my trip with it and it did provide some protection. Buy this only if you need to comply with Ryan Air’s uniquely small carry on rules.
