I don't know why these have bad reviews. They are great. There are plastic coatings on each side of the plexiglass piece, which you can peel off and the plexiglass is nice and clear. You can easily put photos or anything else in them. I use them for preserved leaves. These are great!

I was so excited to order these for a gallery wall I am putting together in my home. Imagine my disappointment when they arrived, only for me to discover that they are NOT "Double Glass" floating frames. Instead the NON-"Wooden" frame surrounds two very thin sheets of plastic that are so cloudy, you wouldn't even be able to see an image clearly If you could get it to stay in there. Please take a look at the pics I've posted. I didn't even get all the shrink wrap off before a huge gap appeared between the frame and the plastic-whatever-it-is. I'm shocked Amazon is allowing this seller to get away with listing this item with such a description, let alone charging $56 for it. I will be returning these! ... show more

Just to be clear, these ARE NOT GLASS. The description states they are glass and wood frames. These are cheap plastic frames with a cheap poly plastic clear insert that doesn't even fit properly. They feel super flimsy and they do not even look nice for decor. It's very obvious they are dollar-store cheap frames. For the cost of $56-ish dollars.... not worth it. ... show more

Bad quality. NOT glass. Photos slide between what appears to be a very thin plexiglass, maybe? Looks and feels like plastic. I needed frames for an art show and these are embarrassing. Without the true weight to the frame and real glass, they do not stand well either. I would not recommend these frames for table top use and standing, like advertised. Also, whatever material the "glass" is make of is very week. I take very good care of my frames and I think my soft packing material I use between them for storing scratched them! I've never had such issues. I will not be buying again, and I would like my money back. ... show more
