I was very hesitant to order furniture off of Amazon but I am glad I did! This unit is awesome.... fits in a corner perfectly. I have a 47 inch tv and its perfect. Assembly is a no brainer.... no tools required except for a little screwdriver they supply you. Box is very heavy... I scooted it in by myself though no problem and had this together in about 10 minutes. my only complaint is that the screws to attached the top to the unit are a bit awkward to put in... they need to be a bit longer. Overall, I love it. This wood is pretty dark though... a little darker than the photo, I think. But its beautiful and solid wood. I might buy the matching side tables next! ... show more

My husband and I put this cabinet together in under two hours. It’s very solid and went together very easy. It looks way more expensive than it is. I think it’s an excellent value for your money with just a little care. It should last for years!

Beautiful! But the hex tool provided doesn't work for screwing in the handles, I had to use my own philips tool for those. Also ours had a manufacturing error and as pictured one of the door hinges was incorrectly screwed in/partially not screwed in. Because provided hex tool doesn't work for this type of screw I again had to use my own philips tool to fix it. Incredibly inconvenient for how expensive this piece is, we expected no flaws nor need for our own tools. If someone doesn't have the appropriate philips or slotted tool they cannot complete this project as is with provided hex tool alone. Once we fixed the faulty hinge ourselves and screwed in the handles it is beautiful, but again, not perfect with the unexpected errors and missing appropriate slotted/philips tool. ... show more

This TV stand is a fantastic value. The "unfolding" assembly process took less time than was needed to unpack the box it shipped in, and it went together with a total of nine screws (three for assembly of the unit, 6 to hold the door pulls on) The materials used in construction look excellent, and are quite sturdy. The shipping weight of the unit was around 100lb, with the TV stand itself weighing in at around 90lb. All visible parts of the cabinet are either solid wood or wood veneer. Back panels are luan plywood with a veneer to match the rest facing inward. I could tell that parts of the main cabinet are engineered wood, but of sufficient quality and density that it isn't an issue. The capacity of the main cabinet is enough for a standard home theatre receiver. All three cabinets have a large slot for cable routing and ventilation, and there are holes drilled between all three cabinets for cable pass-through as well. Ventilation may be an issue with pieces of home theatre equipment that run hot, as the cable pass through slot is the only vent space in the main cabinet with the door open. Side cabinets are of good size, but are an odd shape since this unit is designed to slide into a corner. Overall an excellent piece of furntiure. Leick has a great approach to flat pack that would be nice to see expanded upon. ... show more
