I picked up this wooden baby walker for my granddaughter's first birthday, and it has easily become the most played-with toy. If you are looking for a walker that is beautiful, safe, and actually keeps a toddler's attention, this is it. Here is why we love it: Tons of Activities (10-in-1): Calling this just a "walker" doesn't do it justice. It’s a full-on activity center. My granddaughter is obsessed with the mirror, spinning the gears, and sliding the pieces on the little race track. When she gets tired of walking, she just sits in front of it and plays for a good 20–30 minutes. Genius Speed Control: As a parent, this is my favorite feature. The built-in speed control on the wheels is a lifesaver. You can tighten it so it doesn't just slide out from under early walkers, helping them build balance and confidence safely. As they get steadier on their feet, you can loosen it up. Floor-Friendly & Sturdy: Because it's made of solid, FSC-certified wood, it has a nice weight to it and doesn't easily tip over. Plus, the quiet rubber wheels are amazing—they roll smoothly across our hardwood floors without leaving a single scratch or making a ton of noise. Update! After they kept falling off, my husband tried once again to put them in, he realized that the stickers were on the wrong side of the wheel so they were on backwards. It has now been beloved as a great toy and safe for our girls! This is so adorable, all of the little pieces are beautiful colors and design. My kids love playing with it and all the moving parts and pieces! But… the front wheels don’t work. If you tighten them all the way, they don’t move; and if you try and get it to move they loosen and then within a minute of moving it they fall off and the bolts fall out, which is about as unsafe of a thing you can have happen for a toy for babies! (My husband tried as well and we checked the directions multiple times, it needs a different design) We got this because our 13 month old has just started trying to walk and I was so excited, and she still loves playing with the toys while stationary, but it’s not worth the risk of keeping the front wheels on the toy. It was easy to assemble, the directions were clear and pictures were helpful, everything was very clearly labeled. The wood baseplate also makes it a little hard for a little to push as she is trying to figure out her feet, it gets in the way. But without front wheels it’s not a problem.

This baby entertainment walker is so adorable and well made! It’s definitely worth the time to build compared to the electronic, plastic alternatives if you’re looking for a solid walker. It took me about 30 minutes to build, and I’m 7 months pregnant, so an easy nesting project! I like that it came with the tools that one would need to build this, although, I’d definitely recommend using your own screw driver with a longer handle for better leverage. The instructions were very easy to follow, and I liked that every part came labeled with a number that corresponded with the instruction manual. I can’t wait for my baby girl to grow up with this in her first year. I’m especially grateful for the small nob at the back that controls the speed of the back wheels, which is great for babies learning to stand and take their first steps!

The walker took about an hour to assemble with the phillips screwdriver and two allen wrenches that were included. The instructions were easy to follow. The soft rubber wheels do not mark our floors, and they are very quiet. The rear wheels have a simple and well-thought-out tension adjustment that creates resistance on the axle to keep our toddler from pushing too fast and losing control. The busy board toys keep toddlers interested. The rear shelf is used to hold the shaped blocks and any other toys a toddler decides to store there. This is a really nice toy.
