My 9 year old loves the robe. We used to buy collared star wars pajamas but he's getting big enough that they are hard to find in his size, and this still allows him to wear star wars. He also likes having the bath robe to put on over pajamas on the weekend so he doesn't have to put on "warmer" clothes or be asked as quickly to get dressed for the day. It also prevents our special child from wandering naked between the bathroom and his room after bathing. My four year old loves it. Fits well/as expected and very soft. Not the heaviest bathroom but certainly warm enough. As for the slippers, he actually wears them and that says a lot because most slippers he complains about

My son wears a 7 in almost all brands. The 8 came with size 13-1 slippers. Everything is small. I would say it’s more fitting for a size 6.

I had to return the first one I bought as it was way too small. He wears an 8 but had to get a 10/12. He loves this & even sleeps in it. Very soft. Good purchase for a 6 yr. old
