We purchased this game for our 4-year old a few months ago. He beat the 1st Avengers game which shocked us since he is 4 and that was his first game. He has now beat the levels on this game also, he still has some running around the city to unlock people. This game can honestly be a little tough at times, I think it frustrates myself and the hubby more than my son. He loves it, though. He loves doing the levels (even if he may need a little help at times), creating people and running around the city. The levels can kind of be long which has caused some longer than expected game time. I love the fact that we can play the game with him. The 2 player is great, love being able to help each other. The graphics are good on the game too. We were not a fan of this map on this one compared to the 1st one, though. That one was a little easier, this one you can not see more than so much around you. I am not a huge gamer, so my review on the serious stuff probably is not helping, but overall.....This is a great game. There a ton more characters in this game than the other. (My son was a little bummed about no spiderman). I love how it goes with the stories from the movies and my son loves that he can go to space. :P If you have a lego or avengers lover this is a great game for them! :)

Giving this 3 stars when comparing to some of the other Lego games out there. My Son and I have played Lego Marvel for many hours and loved it. From all the lego games out there (and we have pretty much all of them) the Original Avengers game was our favorite. We had pretty much maxed everything out and still really enjoyed going back and playing the missions and exploring the world over and over again. So when the new Marvel Avengers was announced just in time for my Son's birthday, we were super happy. However, I find that the following negatives in comparison to the original game: - it is definitely not as fluid. It seems like a lot of start and stop for story additions - the stories in themselves are not that great - when playing in 2 player mode, there are situations where you can not see what is happening on the edge of the screen (sometimes a character actually disappears from the screen) - this is even more annoying in dynamic screen mode but even true in the vertical split screen as well - flying style has changed, which makes it a little more difficult to pick up - graphically, the character selection is worse quality so difficult trying to find characters that you want - jumping and the edge of objects has changed. I have fallen off multiple objects as it is difficult to judge edge of the objects and aligning with the next rope you need to jump to I hope many of these are going to be corrected in patches The following positives - reasonable addition to the marvel story line. Nice to play some new missions - Some of the co-op moves are good - quirky humor of the lego genre still there, so lots of laughs Uncertainties - DLC ??? Will have to wait and see what they add. Summary - If you have not already, but the first Avengers game. Much cheaper alot of fun. Wait for this one to drop in price and then maybe the DLC will be easier to justify.

I bought the Lego Avengers game for my daughter because she received good grades on her last report card. I love Lego games, more importantly I suppose is that my daughter absolutely loves them. We started letting her play video games occasionally about a year ago. I went through the toughest time finding games that were fun for her, not too easy, not too hard, and were not overly violent. We got our first Lego game, and we were all hooked. (This includes my husband). I don’t give my daughter a lot of technology time, and she usually picks playing a Lego game when she can. This is our latest Lego purchase and again she is hooked. I like how the game in challenging, yet the accomplishments are achievable. This game is fun, we haven’t made it to the free playtime yet, which is our favorite, but we will be there soon!

My children love it, it is excellent, the game is new, it comes sealed. It is difficult to find this new game and at this price ... it arrived two days before the delivery date. We give it a 5 without a doubt.
