  • Great skyline!
My 10 year old is a super lego builder, he ordered this and loved building it. He has the New York City set and is loving this series of architecture sets.

  • Nice for Display
This Lego set, part of the Architecture series, is of some of the notable buildings of Tokyo, Japan. Despite its rather small size, it manages to include a lot of detail. Represented in this set includes Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Skytree, the two tallest structures of Tokyo, Shibuya Crossing, among other landmarks. I found that the assembly of this set was simple and the included instructions were quite easy to follow. It took me around two hours to put this together. I was pleased with how the final product looks and I think it represents the city well with some of its most notable landmarks. I do have to say that at a typical price of $59.99, it really feels overpriced especially considering that this was smaller than I thought it would be. As assembled, it is only about ten inches across. Even with the current discount (as of this writing) of $11.99, this is relatively expensive. Overall, this is not a bad way to spend a couple of hours to get a nice display piece made of Legos. ... show more

  • Fun Weeknight Build
I purchased this set to build with my partner and we both enjoyed the build over a few evenings. The scale and detail are great if you are limited on display space, however I'm knocking off a star because I feel that at the $60 price point it is overvalued for what comes in the kit. That said this was a unique experience having not built any other skyline kits and I had a blast constructing Tokyo Tower. ... show more

  • Great Lego Set
I quite like this "Architecture" product line of Legos. They are well priced (at least comparitavely to other Lego sets) and very fun to build. They look very nice after being built and look less "kid-ish" than a lot of other Lego sets, so they are very easy to display wherever you choose to put them. Also, this product line has a very small nifty pamphlet that explains all the iconic locations being showcased in the set. If you or someone you know is a fan of both Lego and this specific location, I'd highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Great product can improve on instruction
I like the final product a lot. It’s not difficult to assemble and I even got my 3 yo to help out some of the easier parts to practice her fine motor skills. The two problems I have... 1 the instruction is on black glossy paper, it looks cool and high class but... it’s fine in the day time but at night under the lights the glare just make it difficult to read, along with some of the brown color parts that I couldn’t tell it’s even there. 2. The little bags of parts have no correlations. I can tell some round ones are group in a bag and squares are in another. But... when I was looking for the glassy parts from shibuya crossing for example, they’re all round colorful dots and I had to dig through 3 different bags to get them all. I got used to it after a while. Overall good product and I would definitely get other ones in the future ... show more

  • Really fun
Building this lego set was an enjoyable experience. It was the first lego set I’ve built since I was a child. It took me back to the days when I used to just put a bunch of random pieces together, build something, and then just knock it down. No knocking down this masterpiece that took me 2-3 hours to build with the family. This set will be a great display model. The instructions were easy to follow and putting the pieces together was easy. I built this with my little cousins so it was a great way to spend some family time. The reason I picked this one was because I visited Japan last year and putting these buildings together took me down memory lane. It was fun set to build and also a good way to take your mind off things. ... show more

  • Healthy alternative to video games
My 11 year old granddaughter has started a collection of these architectural skyline sets, and she loves the latest addition of the Tokyo skyline. Although Lego's can be a bit pricey, I think the quality and designs are superior to other brands and are worth the money. I took off one star for ease of assembly, because mom had to help a bit, but my granddaughter is getting better and better at building these herself. I would highly recommend! ... show more
