  • Amazing Game! Awful Emporium.
**10/15/23 Update** 1* up’d to 5* Rating. The Emporium has been fully implemented and works perfectly. This is now a 5* game! To start off, I’d like to describe my enjoyments playing this awesome Lego racing game. I’ve been a fan of Legos since I was a child and have passed that enthusiasm onto my Son and he has a storage bin full of countless Lego pieces. This game is absolutely incredible; the driving aspects and physics are top-notch. The near-instant fluidity of the transformations of your vehicles between the different terrains is such a cool feature, too. I’m thrilled with how well the functionality and designing of the custom vehicles was implemented: piece by piece you can build the vehicle to make almost anything you want! Albeit, that being said, I was irked that you’re limited to only 350 piece builds and the ‘crafting cube’ (i.e., the volumed space around the vehicle that you can actually place blocks) favors the front end of the vehicle more so than the rear, which makes it feel like there’s a bunch of wasted building space. Although that limitation is present currently, the amount of available blocks you can use, not including all the additional ones you unlock as you progress through the story mode, it makes for a very enjoyable experience when creating your own vehicles (I’ve included pics of some of the ones I’ve built, thus far)! Notwithstanding the pros of the game, my chief complaint is the fact the Unkie’s Emporium is completely broken. You cannot purchase anything; none of the vehicles, brick packs, stickers, characters, nor the Season Pass. After having made several attempts to purchase a few vehicles with the Lego bux that I earned in game (at the time, I approximately had around $26; right now I’m back up to nearly $50k) none of my purchases were registered and I lost ~$20k worth of bux. This was a very frustrating and upsetting experience for my Son and I, as I’m sure you could imagine losing $20k, which is challenging in and of itself to acquire that much free in-game Lego bux, and not having anything unlocked afterwards friggin’ sucks. Due to this terrible experience, and until Unkie’s Emporium is fix, this 1 star review shall remain as is, because I haven’t found anything on the net with respects to when this major issue is going to be patched. ... show more

  • An Environmental Nightmare!
When all I need is a digital code that can be emailed, why do you send me a plastic case, printed card, plastic wrap, and god knows how much pollution shipping it to my house. And I had to wait w days for the code to arrive, when it could have been emailed instantaneously. What a joke, just for me to put it all in the trash. Case isn’t even recyclable. Shame on you Nintendo! Shame. ... show more
