I walk / run 7 days a week, 2 to 2.5 miles a day. 820 miles a year and I will only wear Hoka! I have tried every brand out there, believe me and this is by far the best running shoe on the market. If you would out a little or a lot, it does not matter, these are awesome. They also wear well with jeans, shorts and always come in the coolest colors. They are light weight and feel like a glove on your foot. This is my 3rd pair and I will never wear another brand of athletic shoe! Finally, a bit of advice from my experience with this shoe. When I first put them on they fit rather tight in the toe box. Not to worry, dont panic, after 20 miles or so, they break in extremely well, the fit is awesome and feels like they are "made for you foot" ... show more

Before ordering the Hoka Bondi 8 or any other Hoka shoes, be aware that the fit can be quite tight, which may lead to painful discomfort over time, and worse if you have bunions. Simply loosening the laces provided temporary relief. I typically wear a "D" width, which is my standard width, but there are occasions when I need to choose a wide (W) shoe size. Unfortunately, there is no "break-in" period for these shoes, meaning they won't stretch in width even if you use shoe stretchers. Eventually, I decided to order a new pair in the X-Wide size instead of the Wide, and this fit was perfect and comfortable for me. Because of this, I would now rate the shoe 5 stars. Previously, I would have rated it maybe 2 stars, or even as low as 1 star. I'm not sure about the longevity of the Bondi 8, but so far over 150 miles and looking still like-new. ... show more

Literally the best pair of shoes I have ever had. I have osteoarthritis in both knees and weigh 350 pounds. These shoes help me so much! I do wish Hoka would carry wide sizes though, that is my only criticism. Well, and the price, of course.

Most comfortable, stable walking or running shoe I have ever worn. Only issue is that the fabric on the inside of the heal tears before the shoe is anywhere near needing replacement.

I absolutely love the comfort and cushion I receive with the shoes. Holds are probably the best shoes I’ve ever ever had. I have volunteered in the past at a PGA tour event and has seen a lot of caddies wear them and asked my girlfriend about them and she raved about the comfort level. Overall good shoes but little expensive. The quality can be improved as well because it worn out too soon compared to the price I paid for. I wear it to work and I walk a lot at work in my warehouse but its seems the material they use is little common or heavily used but manufacturer should stay consistent with their higher quality of materials when making so it lasts but longer for people who uses on daily basis ... show more

Although I usually love Hoka brand, this pair the plastic, or whatever is in the heel collapsed within the first week. Now it's all bunched up, and I cannot seem to correct it. What are usually comfortable, now is not so I cannot wear this very expensive pair of sneakers.
