This bed has a great appearance but the construction leaves something to be desired. My wife was in the bed working on the transition of getting our son to sleep in his new bed and the bed broke. I understand it's not designed to support a toddler plus and adult, but it would be a small design change to make it easily able to support weight better. As designed it's basically 12 screws in the composite sides holding the weight instead of having direct support to the ground. I didn't think our scenario would be out of the question for customer expectations.

I really like this bed and so does my 2.5 year old son. Assembly is fairly easy (I put it together myself in about 15 min and there are no tools or hardware to contend with). All wood pieces interlock to give you a sturdy solid wood frame with the added bonus of a built in side rail so the little ones don't topple over the side. There is NOT room for box springs of any size because the head of the bed sports a ledge that acts as a sort of shelf and would be wayyyy too tall with a mattress and box springs underneath. It does come with a wooden slatted support for underneath the mattress, but be gentle... I've already had one break off and not sure where it came from yet.

This product is terrible. More accurately, it's a neat bed, but the odds that it arrives at your door unbroken and still usable are very, very low. The original order of this bed came in a large box that was utterly tattered. It looked as if some one had used the box for kickboxing practice. After I finished opening on the steps (it's heavy, so easier to open on the spot), it was clear that that the bed was totally broken. The tail fins were literally cleanly broken in half; these are required for set up. Also, the inner beams had been broken off so that the bed frame could not be put out and thus no place for the mattress. I emailed with Amazon and they initially insisted I send this garbage in a tattered, unfit box back to them for a replacement, or choose a 35% refund for the honor of hauling this to dump (!). Eventually, I prevailed upon them to send a new one for free, which my son was eagerly awaiting. And a week later -- another tattered box with...another broken fin. Totally useless. It's a shame because this bed is cool-looking and seems functional when not broken. But, it seems like this is simply not designed for shipping, period. This product is a nightmare, and Amazon's customer service was frankly only a hair better. First 3 pictures are from Drop #1; second 2 pictures are from Drop #2.

I read reviews about this bed and was hesitant to order but more recent reviews were positive so I figured I’d take a chance and pray it arrived in one piece. I was not disappointed. The bed arrived in a damaged box but the contents inside were safe. We assembled it in literally 5 minutes and my husband and I are not handy by any means. It was SO easy to put together. The best part is our almost 3 yr old son absolutely LOVES it!! He hardly gets off of it, he brings all his toys in it and we play on it most of the day since it arrived! It seems to be really good quality, he rolls around on it and jumps and it doesn’t make a sound. I do not know the weight capacity but I lay on it with him and no issues yet. I highly recommend!!!!!!

My son love his bed. Frame is somewhat fragile. Easy to assemble. One of the frame broke when we were putting it together. Will recommend this bed.

This bed is FANTASTIC!! Very heavy good quality wood. Really easy to assemble. Paint is BEAUTIFUL. My 3 year old son absolutely loves it. Note the 1st bed got damaged upon delivery BUT like usual Amazon stepped up and sent out another one immediately. So happy we waited the extra week for the replacement bed. I see this bed lasting a long time and being able to pass it down after my son has grown out of it.

Amazing bed, was super easy to put together (no tools needed), it is not high at all and my child can easily climb in and out of it. The twin mattress fits perfectly in it and leaves no gaps in between the bed, the borders are also good height. I am super happy about this bed and highly recommend it. Also, the paint job is fantastic on it.
