Got this mold to make shooting my .45 airgun more affordable. For that, it works great! Using 1 to 40 (tin/lead) the slugs from this cast weigh around 194 grains. The Photo isn’t accurate in that there are only 3 bands around the slug, not 4. Those bands are largest in the front (measured at .462) and smaller at the back (measured at .452). So to chamber smoothly, these slugs should be pushed through a sizing die before use. (I side them to .457). The finished slugs group well and I’m very happy with how they turn out. I’ve had no problems with the mold. If its too cold, there are voids. If it’s too hot the slugs don't release as easily, But it works great! No regrets on this purchase. Great mold! ... show more

Pretty easy to use and so far no issues with it. They come out just a hair bigger than .457. I have been sizing them to that for an AEA HP air rifle, and every now and then one slides through the die without touching, but 95% of them are at least .457. Probably a .456 mold but it’s working for me. Hope that helps somebody, ... show more

I have a hatsan bully .45 and for whatever reason, I was unaware that they required a .457 slug for the best possible control and consistency. Maybe hatsans fault, but this mold saved the day. High quality aluminum that doesn’t have any warping after casting about 500 slugs. My other molds started to deform after less than 100 castings. ... show more
