Reading the reviews before trying these pants I could not determine the fit of the waist. They are definitely low rise waist pants if you're wondering. I am very pleased with these pants and I ended up buying 4 pairs and the 3 that arrived so far fit exactly the same. I would say they are true to size. They are quite stretchy and very comfortable to me. The only issue I have is that they do tend to fall when walking being so low rise and stretchy so I wear them with a loose belt. These are definitely a great value. I've never worn Lee jeans before but I'm sold. If you're on the fence give them a try. If you don't like them you could always return them! ... show more

Our military/ college son is on his 2nd pair of these jeans. His last pair lasted him 2 years until a pen exploded on his jeans. The 32x32 were great, but he used the accident to go into a 33x32. Finding clothes for muscular guys is hard in the era of “skinny fit.” We highly recommend these jeans.
