Just worn these for one long day,on a 3 mile hike and in the garage later on. These dont seem as 'heavy duty' as some other lined jeans I've owned, but the fit was much better, I have a slim build so most 'relaxed fit' styles look baggy on me, not these, they are more comfortable to wear,and they are warm too. In the description it says the waist size is actually one size larger than actual.ie, I wear a 34 waist so I ordered a 35 waist, fit was just right, i was able to tuck an undershirt and a long underwear shirt in comfortably too.I havent washed these yet, so we'll see how that goes. The price was competitive I thought, LL Bean is a lot more for instance, Rural King a lil less, Tractor supply comparable. Have to see how they hold up. Seriously. How do you rate a pair of jeans, or any garment for that matter? With any jeans you've got lots of choices and I don't mean all the various sizes. I'm older, OK, I'm old. Lee has been my 'go to' choice for years because I can get them in a relaxed fit that's comfortable for my aging bod. Unfortunately that bod has gotten a bit bigger around and good old stand-by 38s were getting pretty snug. So I ordered 40s and I'm happy with the result. A 39 would have been ideal, but you can't expect to have something they do not make. Mine fit good enough and wash up just fine. Heck, it's a pair of jeans, what more would you want? ... show more

I have become accustomed to the fit and quality of Lee jeans so that is the only brand I ever buy. The past few times I have purchased, however, the weight of the denim fabric seems to be lighter in weight, less rugged then before.

I was skeptical due to some reviews about ripping. They are a nice quality and very warm. The material is soft inside and out. They are not thick and bulky. There is some give to them too.
