Packaging is good and the oar is in good condition, which is lightweight and the material is strong. I believe it can be used for quite a while. The point is, it can float on water for long time. The attached velcro and hook is practical that it can be tied to the oar to hook the elastic rope of the paddle board, which can also be used to catch things that may fall into the water. I can also use the velcro and hook alone to tie things on the paddle board to prevent falling into the water. That is really creative. Definitely a recommendation to friends.

Let me just say that the price point offsets a lot of sins. First off, the extra blade and the T handle are not quite the same diameter. You have to tighten the lock nut by one turn to get a secure attachment for the T handle, and loosen it by the same amount to get an appropriate fit for the blade. Second, the quick release on one side and the spring-loaded pin on the other are very close to where you would grip for kayaking. Not enough to really interfere, but less than inch away on each side. Third, it weighs a metric ton. You’re never going to mistake this for a carbon fiber Werner paddle. The paddle seems fine for casual recreational use, but I’d hesitate to use it for actual ocean kayaking, which I did extensively in my younger days. Again, for the price point, I’m willing to overlook all the above-mentioned flaws. If you’re looking for a cheap recreational paddle, this will suffice.

The first one they sent me didn't work (clasp was too loose), so I returned and they sent another. Prompt customer service. Product is as advertised, everything looks good though I can't figure out what the little velcro clip attachment could be good for.
