The package arrived undamaged. It was packed and wrapped with care. Installed on 2017 Wrangler JKU. There were no installation instructions however, it was still an easy install. Install time was about 2 hours with basic tools and you will probably need some assistance to mount it. I wired my LEDs to the reverse lights. You can easily tap into the driver's side tail light to get to the reverse light wire. You will need extra wire to run to the tail light. The black wire goes to the black wire and the red goes to white with the gray stripe. The LEDs give off a tremendous amount of light. I am extremely pleased with them. If you have issues, there are a few videos on YouTube for reference. The bumper has a textured semi shiny finish to it. It looks good. However, I knew I was going to be painting/color matching to my front bumper. I used Duplicolor Bed Armor spray. Ten coats gave it a matte black finish with a durable texture.

This bumper was higher quality than I expected. The packing was double boxed/stapled together, and the box arrived with no damage at all on the corners. the finish was very nice, with no chips or flaws. It is very heavy, and will take 2 people to mount it up comfortably. It looks just as good as any $600-$800 bumper, at less than half the cost. The bumper bolted up perfectly, with no vehicle modifications required. HOW TO INSTALL: 1. Remove oem bumper (if you can't figure this one out, you better have someone install your new one.) 2. Probably remove your muffler, which makes it much easier to get to the center install bolts later. 3. You have 2 rectangular pieces which slide INSIDE the frame rails on each side. Those are what your SHORT bolts slide into. The short bolts will go from the outside of bumper, into those nuts on your special plate. Don't fully tighten down any bolts until all 8 bolts are installed. 4. Then your other piece is for the center support near the tow hook. You have 4 longer bolts there for the center mount area. start those bolts half way or more. 5. Finish tightening the center bracket first.. which will make sure the sides are aligned nicely later one. honestly for the price you cant beat it came pretty well packaged. the box was a little beat up but im sure that was shipping. it looks good. came with everything you need except for the hardware to wire the lights. the coating is thick and seems to be good no chipping anywhere even after the box got beat up. didn't come with any instructions but its pretty self explainable. everything lined up perfect install was easy even by myself in the driveway definitely would be easier with and extra pair of hands but I did it alone in about a half hour including removing the old bumper and wiring the lights

I have been looking for a functional, durable, inexpensive rear bumper for my 2011 rubicon. This bumper fit the bill and looks awesome. The LED lights were a bonus and not very difficult to hook up. The only issue (minor) is there is no retaining clip for the trailer wiring.

Great quality rear bumper I put on my 2010 Jeep Wrangler sport. Looks good. No instruction but fairly simple to install. Wish all vendors would have the same textured paint. Just be aware that not all vendors have the same texture level on their bumpers. Bought a different brand front bumper and the texture isn't even close to this one.

Probably the best packed bumper/hardware I have seen. Came in great shape and and no scratches or other defects. There are no instructions, but pretty straight forward install. I did it by myself using a hydraulic Jack and short 2x4. Took about an hour and a half (not including lights). Fit and finish is very good, but the finish will need to be judged later after dealing with the elements. My biggest compliant is with the receiver. Product clearly states 2" receiver in the description, and that was a huge factor for me. All of my hitch accessories are 2", but this is closer to 2.25. See pictures. Very disappointed about this.

Pros: Its sturdy and looks great. The price cant be beat. Cons: The receiver setup for towing is a little chinsy and far less engineered than the OEM towing package for JK's, but I have pulled a teardrop camper 10 hours 1 way to Yellowstone and back with it, as well as various other places in the remote woods and mountains, with no hangups. As others have stated, the receiver is slightly larger than your standard towing hitch making towing noisy and banging up your hitch. I had hooked up the lights and only three of the six LED's on the drivers side of the bumper lit up, which was a real bummer. If I hit the light it seems to temporarily light up, but only for a little bit. Overall: I bought this with the ambition of using it as a base for a swing-out tire carrier, and it welded up and fabricated nicely and has been lugging my spare tire around for over 2000 miles and hasn't loosened up at all. Definitely a good bumper, and you get just as good of a product (minus the lights) as a bumper 2-3x the price.

After doing alot of research I decided to go with this rear bumper. I installed it on a 2007 jeep wrangler. I wanted one with a 2 inch receiver, 2 D-rings and led lights. Install was very easy and the directions were excellent. This bumper weighs 65 lbs and is very well made. I am very satisfied with this bumper. I had a question with customer service and they responded very quickly. I would highly recommend this rear bumper.
