    • They were so nice I bought them twice!
I was looking for lights for my new vanity and mirror that I got, and I was pretty leery because these are $16 and you know the saying “you get what you paid for”. They are amazing! The reviews don’t lie! They fit around my whole vanity mirror, and the light options you have with these are great! It came with more options than my $500 vanity and its mirror came with. I loved them so much that I purchased another pair for my full length mirror so I can see my OOTD better and have better light in that corner. With the sticky’s that come with it to install them, I feel like you could use these anywhere! I know if I need more, this will be my go to, or what I tell other people to buy! If you’re on the fence cause the cheaper price like I was, get them! You won’t regret it! (I’ll post pictures of where I used mine in a little bit) ... show more

    • Great for vanity mirrors, versatile power options
I live in a really old house with poor lighting, and my room has east-facing windows, so I have pretty decent light until the sun has risen, and after that...not so much. This is not ideal considering I do my hair and makeup in my room at my vanity table. After switching out my ceiling light bulbs for brighter ones and still having trouble seeing in the mirror, I looked around for lighted mirrors, which led me to look for light strips to stick onto my existing mirror. Found these and decided to try them since they weren't too expensive. I liked that they had multiple brightness and color options, since the amount and temperature of the light I need depends on the time of day and what I'm doing. I'm happy to say that they work fantastically! Installing them was very simple. They come with mounting stickers, so all I did was clean around the edge of my mirror, which is white laminate, with rubbing alcohol, peel the stickers off the sheet, stick them to the lights, and stick the lights to the mirror. My mirror is rounded at the top and flat on the bottom, but it was pretty easy to maneuver around the curve since the wires have a lot of give. I will say that they looked pretty awful at first because the wires really stand out, but I covered them up with some white gaffer tape and it made a HUGE difference. These things are indeed quite bright. They seemed blindingly bright the first few days and just regular bright now, but I don't think that's the lights getting dimmer with time, I think it's me getting used to there being actual decent light in the room. I mostly keep it on natural light on the highest brightness, but it is very easy to switch temperatures/brightness with the remote when I need to. This light strip comes with a USB connector, which offers you some options for powering your lights. You can plug it into your laptop, connect it to a power block and plug it into an outlet, plug directly into a surge protector that has USB ports, or, if you are like me and don't have outlets close enough, you can use a power bank. I purchased a 10,000 mAh power bank specifically to use with this light strip because both available outlets are several feet away. I keep the lights plugged into the bank and the bank sits nicely on my table, out of the way. When I need to use the lights, I just hit the power button on the power bank to wake it up, and then turn the lights on. I've been using them this way for about 2.5 months with absolutely no issues, with use time ranging from 5 minutes to 2 hours at a time, and the lights being turned on and off multiple times a day, nearly every day. Depending on how much I use the lights, a full charge of the power bank usually gives me about a week to a week and a half of use, and it's really easy to just charge the power bank at a time I know I won't be using the lights. (Bonus: if you don't like the blue LED that shines when the lights are off, the power bank will solve that issue. Once the lights have been off for a certain amount of time, the power bank goes back to sleep, and the blue LED turns off since there's no power going to the lights anymore.) All in all, I'm pretty happy with this purchase.     • Not bright enough
The media could not be loaded. They are not bright enough on their own. I still have to use my other light to see enough to do my makeup. Other then that I like them.

I have a set of lights that a friend handed over to me. I think I blew a section of it from bending one of them but I was looking for the exact replacement. I was wrong. I ordered these and while they do light up with the fancy dimmer and different colors, clearly they weren't the same. Much shorter on these but if you like the wire part then that's what you'll get. It's individual light seems smaller than mine and it looks to be 4 ft of empty wire and 6 ft of lights giving you I guess a10 ft set. I haven't measured it but it'll do until I find the ones my friend gave to me. I'm using these new ones to frame the outside of my closet and the other pair I haven't set up because for me, they don't give me the vanity light I'm needing. To each its own. They came with stickers but they have failed so I used the leftover from my pair because all I needed was 4 on mine. The ones here didn't adhere and ended up using all of them. It's a lot of money to be disappointed but ya live and learn hence my review. ... show more

    • Too dim for vanity
I bought this for my vanity table. It is too dim. I was looking for something that would brighten up my face in a room without windows. I can see how it could be used for other places for ambience or something. I do like the controls for brightness and color temp.

I tried to remove one piece to make sure it didn't damage my mirror, and it came off fine (albeit abruptly). 2 tips: test if they work before they go on. And use one of the adhesives to stick the controller somewhere handy so you're not always following the cord to find it. Thankfully, it doesn't look as tacky as I thought it would lol Even the lowest brightness is adequate for makeup use (it's the lowest and medium warmth in the picture). Really helps me out since having my mirror next to my window casted a shadow on half my face. Now that it's fall, I can barely see my face at all. Good, cheap solution. The other mirror lights I saw didn't have both these options (brightness and color temp.). Also, it doesn't come with it's own plug - the end of it is just a USB. No big deal but I didn't see that detail. ... show more

Wasn’t nearly bright enough for my room and for me to do my makeup with. The adhesive bands that come with it are very good quality though and I will be using those for other things.
