As a rideshare driver I have had many of these lights on my windshield over the years. I currently have one for Uber, so I ordered this one for Lyft. This suctioned fairly easily. It stayed well throughout the night, over all of the pot holes and road construction, and withstood the humidity. This is easily readable from outside the car, however I find the brightness somewhat distracting from inside the car, particularly while driving in very dark areas. I have included a photo of the view from my driver's seat for reference. I'm not sure I will continue using it.

Good for what it is. Not particularly sturdy or heavy duty, but that’s what you can expect for the price. If you’re simply installing it on your windshield and leaving it alone, then you’ll be fine. Loading it with new letters is a bit of a hassle, so if you drive for both Uber and Lyft and need to switch, I would not get this one. I like the on-off switch on the USB cord, it’s in the right place (near the USB-A end) and easy to use. I’m a bit worried about the longevity of the suction cups, so over time that might the biggest potential failure point. Another thing to know is that it could be brighter; it’ll show up at night decently well, but during the day it doesn’t really look all that special.

Got this for my son who does deliveries and I am really impressed with how bright the light is and I really like that it's got a switch to turn it off. Having these little signs are important and this one definitely serves the purpose.

This electric sign is perfect if you drive for multiple services. All you have to do is slide the appropriate letters into the slots, stick the sign to your windshield with the enclosed suction cups, plug it in by USB connection, and go! Your riders will easily be able to spot you when you pull up at night, especially if you’re in a crowded place like a restaurant or a bar.
