  • Good, small, EDC knife
I was looking for a slim, lightweight pocket knife that I could open easily with one hand. This is the best I've found for my needs. I've lived with this knife for about 8 months now, and I love it. It is almost perfect for my needs. PROS: Very well built, light, slim, blade was sharp out of the package CONS: Its small, bottle opener occasionally catches on things, liner lock is a concern in the long-term. I wanted a knife that I could fit easily in slim chinos or jeans that left me enough room to easily get things in and out of my front pocket (I carry using the pocket-clip in my right-front pocket for jeans and usually my right-rear pocket for chinos). This knife's minimal design met this requirement. Other slim knives I've owned (Spyderco Delica) fit into a front pocket very well using the pocket-clip, but because of their blade design, still make getting your hand into your pocket difficult. The minimal design also allows for it to be lightweight despite its all-metal construction. Speaking of its construction, It seems to be very well built for such a minimal knife. The blade was thicker than I thought it would be and razor sharp out of the package. This is the sharpest knife I've ever owned out of the package. Because of its minimal design, its blade hinge is not fully boxed (I don't know if there is some knife-term for this) by both sides of the handle like most folders, but instead bolted to one side of the handle. This originally worried me, but after 8 months of light use the blade has remained rock-solid. It stills sits nice and centered in the handle when closed as well. The liner lock is secure, but because of the fact that the blade is not sandwiched between both sides of the handle, there is nothing to keep the liner captive against the blade once engaged. This has not caused any issues yet, but could become a problem as the knife ages or under extremely heavy use. Aside from the potential long-term problem with the lock the only other con to this knife is the bottle opener. By no means was the bottle opener a requirement for me, but I thought it was a nice little bonus. I didn't give it a second thought. However, as other reviewers have written, it gets caught on things. Not enough to be a deal-breaker for me, but it is an issue and has caused the knife to nearly fall out of my pocket a few times. If it does become more of an issue for me I will grind the bottle opener off like others have done. NOTICE: As other reviewers have stated, this knife is small. If you are a heavy-duty user or have very large hands this is probably not the knife for you. ... show more

  • Great little lightweight EDC knife
EDC - Every Day Carry and that's just what I do with this little knife. I had one of the even thinner deejo knives but lost it. This is a more economical (and in some ways better) substitute. The bottle opening is a bonus.

  • Great knife. Bottle opener…not so much.
The knife itself is phenomenal. Very high quality steel, lightweight, and sturdy. The bottle opener is rather disappointing. Every bottle I’m eating opened with it requires you to readjust and pry it open from a slightly different angle or it will tear through the metal. Additionally, it snags on my shirts when clipped to my pocket. The bottle opener portion sticks out just enough to hook on to the hem of my shirt and come out of my pocket. That being said, I highly recommend this knife. I didn’t buy it for the bottle opener, and I am very pleased with it. ... show more

  • Great knife!
Ordered this knife after watching a comparison review on YT. Love it. Super lightweight, super sharp and hold's it's edge. Downsides are that the bottle opener can hook threads on your shirt and stuff while clipped to your back pocket, and it can easily slide out of a pocket and get lost, maybe partially because it's so lightweight. Just be sure to carry it someplace secure. Front pants pocket work well, or clipped to a side pocket on cargo pants/shorts. ... show more

  • Great knife
I added mine to a Keychain so I have a good quality knife with my keys. It's very sharp and it holds its edge very well

  • Pocket clip fail
The combination of the "bottle opener" and weak pocket clip means half the time you pull your shirt up to get to your pocket or knife, the bottle opener will catch and yank the knife out of your pocket. Great knife but that flaw meant I was picking my knife up multiple times weekly and eventually it got lost. ... show more

  • Great product from a great company!
Small, lightweight pocket knife. I have 7 of these knives! I love them that much.. lol. Actually... I’ve lost them on the farm, but after I bought a replacement, the lost one would turn up. Lol. Every time. I’ve lost my original KBx 7 times... that bottle opener is a catcher. I’ve noticed it’s your shirt that catches the hook and pulls it up and out. It’s very lightweight. I’ve grinded the opener off a couple and it solves the problem. But if you regularly drink hard capped beer(I do, Spotted Cow!!) it’s dang handy to have the opener. Yes, there’s a million ways to open a beer... but the convenience of the opener keeps me packing the no modified ones. I do like the KB better, easier to sharpen with a straight blade. They need to offer it in different colors!! ... show more
