I actually really like this costume it made me feel pretty! to put in contacts my body shape is no butt, no boobs for a plus size girl! I am 260 lbs and 5’2 mama belly! I thought this costume would be big in the boob area but it actually wasn’t. It was pretty tight on me, but I still felt comfortable and beautiful. Some people may go up a size, but I didn’t mind the tightness made me feel secure. By the way, it is see-through a little bit. I would wear a bra and maybe a pair shorts underneath too. It’s definitely short. It comes with a headband, but no tights! Overall worth the money great costume!

Bought this costume for our Dia Los Muertos Halloween costume and it was a huge hit! We got so many compliments!! It's super cute (my husband says sexy =) and really comfy. I am typically a 10/12 and I bought the M/L and had room to spare. I'm very large chested (36G) so maybe could have gone down a size in the waist but probably not in the top. The fabric is stretchy so it's forgiving, too. I changed out the headpiece for another found on Amazon, because I really wanted a veil and added some accessories to make it perfect. The only downside is that it's not warm at all, so it was a bit chilly for a 50 degree day of trunk or treating, but I added leggings (instead of the fishnets I had originally planned on wearing) and a shawl. Definitely one of my favorite Halloween costumes!

I am writing this review to help out other people. I am 5'9, 210 lbs. I ordered the 1X/2X. After trying it on, it fits a little snug. I could get away with wearing it, but I am ordering the 3X/4X to try that on as well. Personally, I think the dress runs a little smaller, but everybody's body is different. When I get the 3X/4X, I will update my post accordingly. I just know that when I read reviews, I try to find people with my weight and height size and compare to see if something might fit me. The costume is of nice quality. However, according to the picture it looks like there's a white tulle underneath the costume, but there isn't an extra white tulle included. So, I will be ordering one of those for more puff to create a fuller look. You could wear it without an extra tulle, but I'm going all out with this costume for Halloween and want it to look exceptional! Hope this review helps for now.... To be continued... Okay, UPDATE! I received the 3X/4X. It does fit much better. I'll be able sit comfortably with room to breathe and expand now. Much better! I highly recommend if you are on the fence of the smaller vs the larger, choose the larger size. Also, I ordered a white petticoat tulle from Leg Avenue for underneath this costume which I recommend if you want a fuller costume. It's not completely necessary if you don't want the extra fluff, but personally it's all about the costume experience for me. Nice quality costume. You get what you pay for.

I'm a plus size 6"2 female (sz 20, 44D, 34" inseam) and this costume was perfect! It was long enough in the back so that if I had to bend over I wasn't flashing anyone and comfortable in the chest and waist/stomach. It was more than I wanted to pay for a one or 2 time wear but it was worth it I think. The costume I bought last year fell apart before the end of the night, this one is still in perfect condition. Would buy this brand again.

First, I'd like to say that everyone, regardless of culture, is completely welcome to voice an opinion, but as I understand it, this forum is for the review of the quality of the product, not various opinions of shoppers use of the product, so those opinions are for other forums, not actual reviews. For this site's purpose, I found the fabric to be of high quality, consistent with something able to be worn multiple times, colors of depth that can hold up to multiple washings, and lace and other frills well attached and not likely to fall off, a true 5 out of 5 stars! Whether the shopper is buying this item for a true Day of the Dead CELEBRATION (as I happen to be) or as a COSTUME is completely up to the individual consumer, and should not be open to ANYONE ELSE'S judgement. There is, in actuality, no such thing as "cultural appropriation" as American was formed on the idea of being a melting pot of cultures, so all cultures are welcome and joyfully celebrated and enjoyed by all! Welcome to OUR country!

The zipper broke after my 16 year old daughter sat down and got up again. Besides the zipper the costume was a big success for a "Day of the Dead" costume.

I purchased the 3X/4X size and though its a bit tight and the zipper had some difficulty going up (it liked to snag on the inside parts of itself) the material was stretchy and even flattering! It was fun to wear both to a party and on Halloween night when taking my 4 young cousins trick-or-treating. I would definitely suggest this costume to others! Its far from disrespectful and cultural appropriation is darn near BS (this coming from someone of Hispanic heritage who actually celebrates Day of the Dead). Its well fitting, comfortable once you get used to its fit, and actually covers everything important (meaning you can bend over and it still cover your bits!).

Wow! Talk about fast shipping! And this costume is GORGEOUS! Fits perfectly!! The only disappointment was that the headband was missing. I called customer service and they were wonderful to work with! They were more than generous in resolving my disappointment. As for the costume, I absolutely LOVE it! Very well made and the colors are bright! I was worried that it may be snug, but there’s actually room to grow (which I don’t want to do! Lol). I am 5’7” and 200 lbs. Very busty and a belly...but not much bootie! This fits PERFECTLY! I’m serious, this costume deserves 10 stars! Don’t hesitate to order!
