My 2 year old received this for her birthday. She absolutely loves it, so does outlet 3 year old. It actually totals the items you select and asks for the amount of coins and counts them as you add them. Shes already counting with it because of how repetitive it is ! As for the issue in other reviews about being able to put coins in while the drawer is open. Yes they get stuck , but we have found that if leave the drawer open flip it up side down and shut the door while upside down and turn over again they go back in the drawer. Problem solved no screw driver needed . :) ... show more

This toy seemed to be the favorite amongst my two year old twins Christmas presents. They loved it and had to have it opened right away. My girls immediately loved putting the coins in the slot. One of my girls did this over and over again and liked it so much that she didn't even care about the rest of her presents. There are a few reasons I am giving it four stars instead of five as there are a few negative aspects of this toy. There are as follow. 1. It is REALLY loud. Even the quiet setting is loud. 2. The food that comes with it is kind of silly. It seems like just chunks of plastic. 3. The cash register drawer does get jammed some times with all the coins but it is easy enough to shake and get lose. Some positive things with this toy are as followed: 1. It holds my girls attention for a long time. 2. The learning will continue as the grow. I like how the toy tells you to insert X amount of coins and then counts them as you put them in. This feature is still a little too old for my girls but I'm hoping that'll mean the toy will be used for a long time to come. If you can get past the volume of this toy I would highly recommend it! ... show more

This is so cute and has so many features that I like. This was purchased for a 2 year old and she really likes it. It’s very interactive and more realistic than others I’ve seen. Amazing little toy but parents beware, it is VERY LOUD. There is a volume control on it (like a lot of other toys, two levels) but it makes little difference (or at least mine doesn't!) This is super cute- all the pieces appear to be safe for 2+. I bought this for my daughter and can't wait to give it to her for Christmas! The sounds are really fun and educational. The only way I'd like it more is if the food was more detailed- but I knew what it was from the photos- and bought a separate additional food set that is made with wood and hand painted by Melissa & Doug *super cute btw- I would recommend! ... show more

This toy is awesome, and definitely one of my 22 month granddaughters favorite toys. She is able to count to 10 and knows her colors. She is even having fun learning. I would highly recommend and feel its is well worth the $20.
