Work well. Just missing the aluminum piece on the handle so heats up more then it should. It will eventually burn up the handle. The seller fixed the problem.

Following directions you run this for no more than 30 minutes at a time. While 30 minutes is plenty to melt up a pot full of lead I'm not sure how much rest you're supposed to give it between runs. The second day I used this the burner shorted out on m first or second melt which means it burned out after well under 2 hours of use. Sadly I could find no replacement burners available anywhere.

Have used it twice. Melts pewter within a very few minutes. Easy to store and easy to handle the hot pot. Pours great. Input power is standard household wall outlets: 120v, ~6.5A, 700W. So special wiring is not needed. This little heater makes it easy to melt/pour pewter.

Really good quality and value for your money

The product is very light duty. As instructed did not run continuously more than 30 minutes. How ever after about 3 sessions it began popping the breaker. There are no instruction on where to get repaired or get repair parts. 30 min sessions are not enough time to cast a reasonable amount.
