Super cute toy. The kids LOVED it. You might be wondering why I've given it such a low rating. Well...the quality was suspect. Paint chips were evident when it was opened, and within hours of play, the tea cups were chipped with paint flakes all over the floor. This is a great little toy. I don't entirely "get" the other comments-- wooden play toys-- especially wooden food toys that get a lot of play time will chip, it's the nature of wooden toys like this. We've had this toy for more than two years and while there might be a few tiny chips here and there, nothing remarkable. This toy gets a lot of play time in our home, both by my daughter and the many children who are here to play on a regular basis. The coffee "pods" on top are super fun and the colors are charming.     • No quality control, chipped paint, mdf?
This toy is incredibly cute but poor quality. I ordered this from a book store and it arrived damaged with chipped paint on the teacups and rubbed off paint on the body. The replacement arrived with chipped tea cups, paint rubbed off on the pod holder arm, and paint missing on the body from where they tried to drill the hole in the wrong place. This toy costs double the price that the other companies charge and I expected better or at least equal quality. Not the case. The body of the coffee maker looks like it is made of mdf not wood. 2 stars for style. No stars for quality. ... show more
