These mesh screens may seem like a small detail, but they’ve become a must for my plant setups. I’ve been using them for years now and they’ve held up well, even after recycling their use—no rust, no warping, and they do exactly what I need: keep soil in and let water out. The mesh is fine enough to prevent any mess at the bottom of my ceramic planters without impeding drainage. They also help prevent gnat problems by keeping the soil base clean. They’re flexible but structured, and I like how they sit snugly over the hole without shifting around.
