I guess the way this was packaged speaks to the durability of the mug. This arrived loosely tossed in an amazon box with a little bit of air packaging. The mug does NOT come in a le creuset box, it only has a tag on it. I like it because it fits under espresso machine portafilter with a scale. I don't like it because it is too heavy, and due to its large opening does not keep the contents warm. I use it for latte, but my latte gets cold too quickly, and the mug is bulky to move around in my hand. I use it only all my other favorite mugs are in teh dishwasher. ... show more

I use this mug a lot because I like the shape and color of it. When I brew a single serving of tea with this, I get a nice size serving, and the wide open top lets me enjoy the aroma fully while I wait for it to cool. It also cools a little faster with more surface area exposed.
