Description

The Cast Iron Loaf Pan is a kitchen essential that beautifully transitions from oven to table. Ideal for everything from breads to meatloaf, pound cake and more, the deep capacity is also perfectly sized for layered bubbling casseroles for two. The interior surface is finished with a Matte Black enamel that eliminates the need for the traditional seasoning and maintenance of raw cast iron. Specially formulated for higher surface temperature cooking, the enamel develops a natural patina over time making it virtually nonstick and easy to clean.

I used this loaf pan for the first time a few days ago. It baked a beautiful loaf of bread - no sticking and golden brown. I just lightly buttered the pan before baking. Super easy to clean up. This will last a couple lifetimes.

Handles ridiculous for this cost!

I think this piece is way OVERPRICED, for me it was a nice size but way too many irregularities in the coating and the biggest issue is the ridiculous handles! There needs to be open good size handles that you can put your fingers through, like the braisers have. This piece becomes extremely slippery when washing or getting any kind of liquid on the outside and the handles don't do anything to help with stability in not dropping and breaking this piece especially at this price! This piece is just completely odd to me because of the ridiculous handles, other pieces in their line are so intricately thought about and this loaf pan was just thrown together with no thought of functionality. ... show more
