This is a heavy and powerful unit. Probably should leave this style buffer to the pro's - I put swirls in my paint because I did not use it correctly. It only spins in one direction, I used high speed and I did damage to my paint

I had two options: either send it back to Amazon, which would have incurred additional costs and a waiting period without a replacement, or opt for a repair and have the battery replaced for an additional $100.
