I used this activity during the art camp I ran over the summer for elementary-aged kids, and they absolutely loved it! We combined this craft with supplies from a similar kit we already had. This allowed kids who preferred more structure to paint animals, vehicles, or other pre-made designs, while others could go freestyle. The kit came with a few pre-designed wooden dinosaurs and wooden circles. As with all glow-in-the-dark products, you need to expose them to sunlight or a bright light source to "charge" them; otherwise, they won’t glow. When done right, it's a big hit! I also found it helpful to explain to the kids that the glow-in-the-dark paint should be used as a "second step." Since the glow paint is very transparent, it's best to paint the base color first with regular paint, let it dry, and then add a layer of the glow-in-the-dark paint on top in a matching color. We didn't use the little gems and the tools for them because they were WAY too small for kids in elementary school to be handling, but will be really nice to use in other crafts!

The 3rd photograph tells the whole truth about what is glow in the dark and what is NOT glow in the dark! On the left side you see the regular paint from the paint pots! On the right side you see what is glowing in the dark is the Glow In The Dark Glue NOT paint! As you can see clearly the paint on the left side is not glowing but if you look closely you will see the glue that has been applied over the paint! Those glue lines are what glow in the dark! The wood slices are OK! They have a strong smell. A few pieces of bark are missing & they are not in the box either! All pieces have DIY holes for the nice jute rope to go through! The little cut out and detailed dragons are adorable! They can be painted & the back is blank so you can personalize the dragon with someone's name or what ever you think is nice! The colored glow in the dark glue and the glitter glue can be used if you want too! Personally, I am going to use my nice acrylic paints for the little dragons! I'm going to use mandala stencils on the big slices of wood! Haven't got a plan for the small slices of wood yet! As long as you know what you are getting I do recommend this kit! Read & LOOK at all of the photos! Hope my honest review helps you! 🙏

These are fun for my nature girls who are also artsy. I found really find anything on the box to indicate the fabric friendly state of these paints but they are in the standard containers for water soluble paints. UPDATE: Please note this kit includes adhesive that should not be used with young children. I've been able to determine that the adhesive emits a high amount of Voc's and should be used in a very well ventilated area or outside at best. AVOID any skin contact.

Comes with a lot of options, my son was especially excited for the glow in the dark paint. Paint works well but the glow in the dark paint is not very visible in the day so recommend on top of other paint. Also, the wood pieces were fun for me to paint while my son painted the dinosaurs plus he wanted a few of those too. We didn’t use the diamond jewels or adhesives as my son was happy with the rest.

This kit comes with lots of craft items for one or multiple kids to enjoy and spend hours entertaining themselves. This kit would make a good gift or just pull it out on a rainy day. It comes with diamond painting supplies, paint, paint brushes, color glue, glitter glue, little wood dinosaur hangers to paint, various sized wood circles for painting or whatever, and sticker gems. A lot of stuff at a pretty good price point.
