It is mild steel but at the price point this is quality pipe. Don't expect it to last like stainless steel but this pipe is far easier to weld and create custom exhausts with. The bends are precise and smooth, the OD for the 3" pipe is spot on.

These kits are nice for older equipment. Used this in a 1970's forklift with a gas engine. You can make it fit nice and make it look sharp. Not sure about how much Stianless steel they are. That is the only thing negative about it. They do rust and discolor

    • Works great for a cheap exhaust (NOT STAINLESS) welds nicely and not aluminized.

Good cheap pipe, male a female ends fit together nicely. It is mild steel so it will rust but, welds great. I do wish it had more 45 degree pipes, so i did have to get creative with pie cuts.

Opened the box, black stuff and rust all over the pipes. The quality feels great but if it’s rusted just by being in an Amazon box through shipping it’s obviously not good quality. Not rust resistant at all. Not good quality. Overall not worth the money, find a better company.
