  • Biggest bang for your buck. Perfect for beginners!
Size: Right Hand Style Name: RH, 4 Iron Single
Started golfing earlier this year and got a cheap starter set from Dick’s. As my game improved I felt like I needed better clubs but I wasn’t good enough for top of the line name brand clubs. I couldn’t justify playing thousands of dollars on a new set. I ran across Lazrus, never heard of them nor sounded familiar. But with the price so cheap it sounded too good to be true. I took a shot and got them. As soon as it got delivered I went to the driving range and Let me tell you, these clubs are AMAZING!!! They look and feel just like a premium club! Good club head weight, offset lie for forgiveness, and oversized with a cavity back. It has clean crips sound off the ball and shots feel great. If i had to compare them to a club I’d say they’re very similar to the Callaway XR OS. Not only was I happy with saving money I was more happy I got a really good club. If you’re a beginner and wanting to get into golf, these are perfect for you. If you’re on the edge going back and forth on whether to buy them or not, trust me, GET THEM! You won’t regret it. I honestly don’t think I will need to buy name brand clubs anymore. I’m just waiting for them to make drivers too ... show more

  • Returning to the sport after a long absence.
Size: Right Hand Style Name: RH, 4-PW Set (7 pcs)
Decided to again take up golf, but given I am not sure how much playing time I will actually get, I did not want to invest a ton. I did a little research, read some reviews, and decided to start with these. I am not sure you are going to get a better club for the money. They're extremely comfortable, look sharp, and seem to have good balance. Smacked a bucket on the range today and they felt great. So far, I would highly recommend to any casual golfer. I will update after I've put them through their paces with regards to durability, etc. I would also like to add a quick comment regarding the packaging- these things could have been handled by a Southwest baggage claim dude whose wife just left him and they would have arrived immaculate. ... show more

  • GREAT Club. But...
Size: Right Hand Style Name: RH, 1 Iron Single
It only comes with one shaft option. I understand these clubs are designed with not-so-great golfers in mind but even some bad golfers have faster swing speeds. Even if they were just to add a stiff shaft option on top of the regular shaft, that would go a long way and my rating would go up to 5 stars. I’m a little bit better than the average golfer and my swing speed is around tour average, maybe slightly faster, so the regular shaft doesn’t work for me, I always draw it left, so I will be replacing it with an X-Stiff shaft soon. That being said... This club is GREAT. It is strong lofted for a 1 iron (13° vs. the usual 16°) so if you want a traditionally lofted 1 iron, Lazrus’ 2 iron is 16° and thus would fit the bill. This club sounds absolutely amazing. I have pure joy with this club in my hands, and once I replace the shaft, this will absolutely be my favorite club in the bag. I also like the fact that it’s not a driving iron. It is styled more like a standard long iron which gives me confidence that I can hit it out of any lie. My old 18° driving iron was great off the tee but I didn’t have confidence with it out of the fairway. I feel like I can hit this from the tee and from the light rough with no issues. And how about some low stingers? YES PLEASE. This thing can hit some monster low stingers that will make you look like Tiger. The grip is decent. Not great but not bad. It probably won’t have the most grip in the rain, but when it’s dry, it will more than get the job done! It’s a bit more rough to the touch than even a standard tour velvet grip, but it’s not uncomfortable. Finally, the club looks great! Along with the fact that I don’t care much for driving irons out of the fairway, I also think driving irons don’t look the best in general (there are a few exceptions). This club looks very classy and high quality. It doesn’t look like a cheap club in my opinion. For the price, I would absolutely buy this club again and again. It’s absolutely worth more than the price and it’s well on its way to being my favorite club. ... show more

  • Better than I expected!
Size: Right Hand Style Name: RH, 4-PW Set (7 pcs)
These clubs felt great in my hands and taking them to the range, they performed better than I thought they would for a cheaper set. I hit them better than my starter set of Ping irons. Very worth the purchase!

  • Great set of golf clubs
Size: Right Hand Style Name: RH, 4-PW Set (7 pcs)
I was in the market for clubs as mine were from the 90's. I am an ok golfer and shoot in the high 80 low 90s. After a lot of investigation/research I came across the LAZRUS clubs. They have a larger sweet spot and more forgiving than my older clubs. I compared them with Titleist T300 which are not forgiving and waaaay more expensive. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend these clubs. I have had my pro teacher hit with them and he loves them. The cost is a no brainer the other big names sell the same set for 3.5-4x as much. Also customer service is the best. I had an issue with my P wedge and they sent out a replacement in 3 days. ... show more

  • Legit clubs, great value
Size: Right Hand Style Name: RH, 4-PW Set (7 pcs)
I ordered these a couple weeks ago because the clubs I had were a Ram set from the mid-80s. Time for an upgrade. My wife's family is big into golf, and my father-in-law recently bought a set of irons for a little under $1000. I shoot low-to-mid 50s on 9 holes, I'm not about to spend money like that. So I did a little research, found these clubs. 4-PW costs under $300? Deal. I needed them lengthened, so I took them to my local golf guy. He said he'd never heard of the brand, but "you gotta be careful about internet clubs." But then he checked the clubs against his gauges and said the angles are all right where they should be, and the grooves are aligned properly and deep enough, and after a few more minutes he handed them back and said "These are actually a pretty good set of clubs--how much did you say you bought them for?" This is a guy who works on and sells golf clubs, and I would've believed him if he said "they're crap; what you need are the GolfClub3000s, and I just happen to have them on sale." So huge credit to these clubs for making him admit quality. I also bought the 2 and 3 irons because I like hitting my old 3 iron, but he said the loft of my old 3 iron is actually replaced with the new 4 iron (apparently technology has changed a lot in 30+ years), so I returned the 2 and 3 irons. But I'm excited to get on the course with my new quality clubs. I'll post a follow-up after I play a round or two. ... show more
