I have been playing Taylor Made since forever from bags to clubs. So hard times come around and I am needing a new 3 and 4 hybrid since my old ones were really old ones. On a budget I decided to try these cheaper clubs, cant hurt but I was surprised by one the shipping - clubs were covered nicely in bubble wrap and the box that it came in was perfect - then the unveiling - sweet looking club - sleek is a better word then to the range we go. Nice nice nice - don't regret it. I will look into their other clubs - go ahead and buy then we can compare notes. cheers - happy face

If a whole set of hybrids is a good idea for Fred Couples I thought I should give a set a try. I found this set of Lazrus hybrids here on Amazon for $353 and thought at that price for a whole set (PW through 4) it was worth a shot. Love them. They take some getting used to because I hit these longer than my old set of Callaways, easily 10 yards on each club. I still have to carry my old, 9 iron, gap wedge and pitching wedge to make up for the distance between the Lazrus PW and my sand wedge. I can't hit the Lazrus PW any less than 110. For the money I would have given these five stars, but... The styling of the numbers on the club heads is stupid. I guess they thought it would be cool to make the numbers small and in block shapes. The players who use these are no doubt primarily seniors who's eyesight isn't as good as it once was, so the block numbers all tend to look the same. The P looks like a 7. The 6, 8 and 9 all look the same. Me thinks the designers overthunk. Couple of my buddies have already bought Lazrus sets.

I have only been playing a year and half. So I find the hybrid clubs helpful. I have a big $$$ 3 hybrid… saw this one (hybrid 2) and said, heck why not for the price. Buying the entire set after 2 games. Solid 180-190 shot! When I have correct form, straight as an arrow. Love this club! I did notice it shows the ball marking on the face after a few shots. Guess what, it will not affect my PGA card.. lol … must buy for the average golfer on a budget. JMK..

I've been playing golf for over 60 years now. In the last couple of years my irons had just become unreliable. I had already gone to hybrids for 4, 5, and 6 irons a few years ago, but now I've added 7, 8, 9, and PW hybrids. I still have a regular PW and SW, but only use them close to the green. My longer hybrids are all Callaway, but they don't make the shorter hybrids. These new hybrids have been great so far. I hit them as consistently as the Callaways. I'm still figuring out how far I hit each one (I've only played about 3-4 rounds with them so far) but they have really helped me.

Nice club. Like the club head, a little wider sole than my previous hybrid. The grip felt undersized, turns out that the shaft is narrower than standard. I had it regripped with some extra tape ( now it feels a little oversized). Doesn't come with a head over.

I haven't played any golf since I was 24 and now I'm 60 and a friend invited me to play since our bowling alley was closed down due to COVID. I decided to give it a shot with some old clubs I got from a storage unit I bought 12 years earlier. I wasn't very good with my irons no matter how much I practiced. Then I started doing research on the new clubs that were available, watching videos, reading reviews and decided to try a hybrid. My friend has some really nice clubs( name brand and pricey) but I didn't want to throw down a ton of cash for a name and be disappointed with the hybrids not working any better than the irons. I found this Lazrus hybrid and read the reviews and the price was great for me to start out. I purchased this 6 hybrid in black (I just like the color 😎) and when it arrived I was impressed with how well made it felt, looked and balanced it was. I couldn't wait for the snow to melt so I went and used the simulator at our local municipal golf course. When I used it for the first time it just felt right at home in my hands and hit about 20 shots and averaged 150 yards with varying degrees of draw and fades. All of which I'd be happy with on the course at my age. Well the snow melted and the course was open WOOHOO!! Used it for my second shot on the first hole, about 165 yards to the pin, took my swing and it was heaven. I hit about 155 with a slight fade and ended up right of the green with a15 yard chip to go. I was impressed!! I then used it on a par 3 ( par 3's are my nemesis ) 175 yard. I usually either hit too long or hooking the ball into the bunker but this time it was a straight shot with the wind blowing it to the right. Landed on the green for the first time since I started back playing in September and it rolled up leaving me with a 12 foot putt. I won't get into detail about my horrible putting till I get a new putter 🤣. I love this club and now I have ordered a 3hybrid from them and hope to get the same results as I got from this club. If you're looking for inexpensive, well made great feeling hybrids check out Lazrus. I hope they decide to come out with a driver because I'll certainly give it a go!!
