Quality item. This product is simple, beautiful and easy to use. I installed this and had my son help me only because I couldn't reach. I would think one person could install this by themselves as there's literally only one step. I have used this frequently since installing that means pulling on it and raising it, it hasn't budged once from its position. While this product is not see-through or blackout, it provides the level of privacy I wanted. As for the price and for the amazing product that it actually is it's a steal. To be able to put up some sort of window dressing and not have to drill a hole is the best thing about this product.

Given the custom nature of these blinds, they are non-refundable, so I was worried they would turn out terrible and I'd be out a few hundred dollars (my blinds are quite large). I received a confirmation via email about the sizing and the measurements and crossed my fingers. It took about 2 weeks to receive them and I'm very happy with how they turned out! They are well made, sturdy, don't require tools to install, very simple to open and close, and work very well as blinds. They also look nice and they don't look cheap. Some things to note: 1. They block a lot of light, not black out, but close. 2. They are operated by pulling down on the bottom bar and then just bunching it back up by lifting the bottom bar. I was looking for a pull cord and figured this out by accident. It's a very nice solution and prevents the worry of pulling the whole thing down, which is nice 3. Installing is easy, but it's one of those things where it would be nice to have 3 arms. So, having 2 people to install will make it much easier

I ordered this shade for our bathroom window. I measured carefully and checked it a couple of times. I received a message from the seller to confirm measurements- which I think is a good practice. It arrived well packaged, and I was able to install the shade easily in just a few minutes. I have to say, it looks very nice. Even though it stays in the window frame by tension, it does feel pretty sturdy. The pull-down mechanism seems a bit stiff (and I’m hoping this does affect how well the tension mechanism stays put), but putting it back up (opening) is quite easy. I prefer light filtering window covers, and this one fits the bill very nicely. I think it offers adequate privacy without feeling closed off to outside. The quality and color of the wood seem good, but only time can tell how well it all holds up.

This could not have been easier to install. I just had a backsplash put in and they tiled into the window, and I didn't want to drill holes in the tile to hang a blind. They match my other bamboo blinds pretty nicely. It certainly solved my issue, and it looks great too!

To the company: 1. The bracket has 4 screw holes and you only had 2 screws in there. This bracket stabilizes the adjustable extension. Two screws are not enough and we could not install due to a wobbly bracket. The screws are also very shallow due to the width of the board. So, we added 2 small screws to each side and added a drop of super glue to the screw hole prior to tightening screws; now there were 4 screws on each side. It “set” overnight and the bracket/ plate was very secure and stable the next morning. Having 4 screws on each side made the adjustment screw stable and very easy to install and made for a very tight fit to the I side of the window. 2. The flap that goes over the hardware in the front is decorative and is TOO SHORT. It should be twice as long as it is now and cover the grommet holes in the front of the shade. This is an easy fix: make it longer! The material is excellent; the shade easily moves up and down. We really like the shade as it is beautiful in the room. If these two things above were to be corrected it would be a “5” rating and far superior to the current design. Thanks.
