When my 3 year-old Galaxy Watch Active 2 died after a day floating in the lake (thought they were supposed to be waterproof?), I opted for a "renewed" version of the same model because of the price point. I've been very pleased with it so far. Can't tell any difference from a new model. No scratches, dings, etc. All functions work just like new. Bought this watch on or around the 21st of January of 2022, didn't really know what to expect from a "renewed" product... shipping was quick! Got it with in 4 days of order(shipping times and arrival times vary based on geographic location) but when I got the watch it did have some blemishes on the body of the watch but the receipt said "new" and it is actually brand new! According to samasung themselves! It's just a factory reject because of lack of protective coating on the body(hinse why its chipped) so I'm gonna say I'm very happy with it the purchase and the watch! despite it being water resistant AND using water lock, it died after taking the kids swimming. it was an early fathers day gift for my husband. DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH!!!! I will be demanding a replacement and if the replacement is just as bad I'll be requesting a refund. Fully functional and guaranteed to work is a LIE since clearly water lock doesn't work. I have a Galaxy active2 40mm and zero issues with going swimming w my watch on and in water lock mode update 8/8/22: replacement watch died less than 2 months later. Giving up and just buying new. Watch looks and works like new out of the box. Will update my review if there ar3 any issues. The charger it comes with is not fast charging which is my only bad comment. But that's an easy fix by buying a Samsung brand charger for it. All in all so far so good

I am very impressed with the watch. It is brand new like conditions. It fired up just fine, charger works great. I felt like maybe it was a bit of a stretch for the price and a few negative reviws but I was presently surprised. No visible scratches. Overall pretty darn great so far.
