The frame is sturdy and fits the photo size (8 by 10) unlike some frames I’ve ordered. Easy to insert the photo. Can display vertically or horizontally. I did order the bronze but got black. However, the black looks fine with the picture.

Prints/photos that are actually 8 inch x10 inch will fit perfectly into this frame. Some reviews state that the 8x10 items will not fit but I am guessing they have an 8x10 print that also has an additional half inch border (which makes the print 9x11). The inner lip of the frame is about 6/16ths of an inch (0.95 cm). So on a print the outer most 6/16 inches will be blocked by the frame border and not viewable. The actual dimensions of this 8x10 frame is 10 inches x 12 inches with thickness around 1 inch. As others have noted this frame comes with a tab on the back that lets you stand the portrait up. If you try to hang the portrait with this tab still attached the bottom half of your portrait will not sit flush with the wall. About 1/4-1/2 inch will be jutting out towards you. The tab can be forcibly removed and the process is non reversible. ... show more
