If you’ve ever sat down on a cracked, sun-baked mower seat only to realize it is soaked, you know why a high-quality cover is definitely a must. Made from 600D Polyester Oxford fabric, this cover feels incredibly durable. It isn't just a thin piece of nylon; it’s a heavy-duty shield that, sheds rain and morning dew effortlessly, as well as keeps the seat from cracking under the summer sun. This heavy duty material holds up against branches, tools, and general wear and tear. While specifically designed with the John Deere X530 in mind, its 14” x 16” dimensions make it a versatile "universal" fit. I tested this on a Craftsman lawn mower, and the fit was snug and secure although it was just a little too large for our mower seat. It’s also compatible with major brands like, John Deere, Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, and Toro. The storage on the back of this cover is a great upgrade over a stock seat. It features two mesh pockets for larger items and one small zipper pocket, which is the perfect secure spot for a cell phone or wallet so they don't bounce out while you're hitting those uneven patches of grass. The Good: The yellow fabric of the seat cover (described as Oxford) is thick and rugged feeling with obvious water/weather resistant properties. The inside of the cover has rubber dot designs to prevent the cover from slipping off of the original seat. The back of the seat cover is also weather resistant. It has some stretch along the seams for a snug fit around the seat. The back has a mix of pockets both solid and mesh as well as a small zipper pocket. I love the idea of putting my drink there as opposed to the mowers cup holder. The drink is invariably covered in dirt and grass after 30 minutes. The durable fabric, easy, snug, fit, and extra storage pockets and compartments all appear well made of high quality materials. These materials promise, at minimum weather and water resistance. I love the extra pockets on the seat back as well as a zipper pocket where I can put the key. The Bad: I have to wait 6-9 months to know how well the seat cover will truly hold up. The Wrap-Up: The quality of the seat cover is impressive. There is no thin fabric or lack of design amenities. The cover is well constructed and thoughtfully designed. It feels and looks like a much more expensive product. The price point of under $20 is pretty amazing. I’m excited to start spring mowing and see how well this seat cover preforms!

I bought this lawn mower seat cover for my riding mower because the original seat was starting to crack from sun exposure. After installing this cover, I wish I had done it sooner. The cover fit my seat really well. My mower has a seat in the 14–16 inch range, and it slipped over it without any trouble. Installation was simple — just slide it over the seat and tighten the drawstring underneath. The elastic keeps it snug so it doesn’t slide around while mowing. The fabric feels thick and durable, much stronger than the thinner covers I’ve seen before. It definitely seems like it will hold up well to sun, dust, and occasional rain. The weatherproof material is a big plus since my mower sits in the shed but still gets some exposure. It actually made the seat a little more comfortable too. The cover has a bit of cushioning, so it feels better on longer mowing sessions. It also keeps the seat cooler than the original vinyl when the mower has been sitting in the sun. I Like that it: Fit on my mower seat, is a durable fabric, was easy to install and stays in place This is a simple upgrade that protects your seat and makes mowing a little more comfortable. For the price, it’s a great way to extend the life of your mower seat without replacing the whole thing. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone with a similar riding mower.

We have three acres to mow so the John Deere gets used often and for longer periods of time. I think my husband thought this purchase was silly but he’s singing a different song now. The lawn mower seat cover fits his lawn tractor perfectly. It will fit any upright seat with a back height between 12.4 and 14.1 inches. The fabric is a heavy duty 600D polyester Oxford cloth in the color yellow, UV resistant, waterproof, scratch & heat resistant and very durable. We have a John Deere but it compatible with many other brands. It’s very easy to put on since there’s no closure, just an elastic hem. It has a non-slip surface on the back side so the cover stays put. It protects the seat from dirt, debris and stains, prevents wear, tear and cracking from sun exposure. On the back are three large pockets and two pockets on each side. We love having a place to store small clippers, gloves and tools for when we see something that needs tending. No more stopping to run back to the shed. All in all, my hubby has decided it was a great investment since the seat of these lawn tractors are always the first to show use. He highly recommends!
