These are beautiful frames. Includes a border if you want to use a smaller picture, but that can be removed if you need more space. Good quality metal and real glass. Came in a sturdy package so that all frames and glass were in perfect condition. I take and frame a lot of photos, and have come to appreciate the differences in picture frames. This set was bought for my teenage son to use in his bedroom, and my expectations weren’t that high. These are minimalistic plastic frames, but with none of the imperfections I’ve found in other inexpensive frames at big box stores. They have the annoying metal tabs to keep the back on, however they are redeemed by the fact that the easel fits within the back of the frame for hanging on the wall. UPDATE: After a couple of months, I decided to replace these with square frames. When I took them down, I discovered that the back of the frames stained the paint on the wall. These frames are awful. Avoid them and buy something else. This review is for the silver versions. The silver is a thin coating on the plastic frame, and lots of the silver came off. It was basically like glitter all over the work area, and required a lot of cleanup just to get the frames usable. In addition, the hooks are not in the same place on each frame, making it difficult to hang them evenly in a group. ... show more

I searched many "brick and mortar" stores for this size but none were available. Amazon had just what I needed and they fit the pics I have perfectly. They seem to be sturdy but am not going to test them. They are hanging in our stairway and are ia nice addition to our wall hangings.

These are wonderful frames for the money. They look great on the shelf, much higher quality than they are. They look like a heavier metal frame, but really a very light weight plastic. If I need more frames, I will buy these again.
