As I was with the other robe, I was a little hesitant on making this purchase but I did anyways and I don't have any regrets.I am on the Plus side, 14/16 and I stand around 5'11 or 6' ft tall. I knew my actual size, but was worried that the robe ran small. I ordered an XL and it fits perfect and I still have enough room. I am a bit heavy chested as well, but I don't have any issues with covering with this robe. The robe comes about 5 above my ankles but is still long enough. I absolutely love! this Kimono. It’s exactly as described as long as expected and fits perfectly. For reference I’m 5’5 and 140 lbs. I honestly didn’t expect such quality for this price. Oh and did I mention it has POCKETS!?! Ladies you know how big a deal that is lol.

Exactly what I wanted! It's long, but doesn't touch the floor. It feels and looks great in quality. It has inner ties and a belt as well. I got this because I dread wearing an old t-shirt while I apply my makeup so I got this robe, plus it looks more glamorous. The Lavenderi Women's Long Classic Kimono Bathrobe is a nice long, lightweight, satin finish wrap robe. It does not have a brushed lining and is not a heavyweight satin. I am petite and about 20 lbs overweight for my frame (5'2" 134 lbs). I was looking for a long satin robe with straight sleeves, not the wide, dangly sleeves you see on most kimono robes. Based on my weight, a medium was the advised size, but since this one fell well below the knee on the [probably much taller than me] model, I ordered a size small, in the hope that it wouldn't overwhelm me. (Why doesn't anyone on Amazon sell clothes in petite proportions?) On me, the small falls just barely a couple inches above my ankles (yay, a longish robe!). The sleeves fall an inch or so below my wrist, but still at least an inch above the base of my thumb, so this robe doesn't look too big. When my elbows are bent, the sleeves sit right to the wrist. This is the fit I was hoping for! The belt, at 76 inches, is plenty of length to tie a bow even around my expanded waistline. I was hoping this robe might have a brushed finish on the inside, but as you can see from my pic, it doesn't. However, it slides on easily over flannel pajamas. Pros: - Accurate color. - Quality stitching. - Soft and lightweight. - Washes well. - Belt loops are placed so that belt can be wrapped high for someone short-waisted like me or low for someone taller or longer waisted. - Long belt. Cons: - Not a lot of material to wrap in front. Granted, I bought a small instead of a medium, but on a short kimono robe I purchased from another Amazon vendor, there was plenty of wrap. - The inner ties you use to help keep a slippery satin robe closed are sewn at hip level (for me) as other reviewers have noted. This is probably the perfect location for a taller person. In spite of being at hip level, they are still long enough to tie. - Even after washing twice and wearing daily for nearly 5 months, the fold lines are still visible, although they are softening. - The teal is dark enough for no show-through before/after a shower, but the material is so thin that I don't think that would be the case with lighter colors. - Satin is satin, so don't let your pets sit in your lap while wearing it or you'll wind up with claw snags.     • Loose fitting and won’t close well.

The robe is pretty and feels great but it runs super large, in that it won’t let you tie the robe snugly for smaller waists/chests. I’m 5’4”, 110lbs, and 32-34B, and waist is about 26. When I tie this robe shut there’s still about a good half a foot of loose robe, and basically it makes my right chest be unevenly exposed compensates to the left side (it closes to the left). The inside tie will tie well on the right to help cover up your left side, though. It functions well otherwise, and is nice to wear as long as no one sees me. I have resorted to pinching the sides of the robe and tying them together so that it actually ties snugly around my waist. I kind of look like Ariel when she wears rags tied with rope when she’s washed up shore lol. If you guys are planning to buy this for bachelorettes or the like where you want to take bridal pics with the bridal party when you’re getting ready, the closure of the robe isn’t ideal for women who are petite, if you want to take that into consideration. ... show more

Love this robe, I’m wearing it right now! I got a size larger than I usually wear because I like my robes on the loose side. The pockets are great and it makes me feel a little more “fancy” than the average robe. Also a huge plus is pet hair does not stick to it :)

I'm so confused about the sizing and proportions of this. I've got a rather petite build-- I'm about 5'2", about 105 lbs, so I expected the small to be maybe a little too large but still workable. The sleeves were properly full length, but the total length was pretty long, nearly touching the floor. That alone might be fine, but the pockets were hilariously low. I should actually say, "Butt the pockets . . ." -- the pockets reached almost entirely below my butt; I could barely reach the tips of my fingers into the pockets. I put this robe on my 6' boyfriend, and the pockets were a perfect height for him. Going to return this and try something else. ... show more
